Just did it in 66 throws tn, my new pb (that I counted anyways). Best exercise there is, especially for beginners because they get to know the board. Been doing this for almost a year and increased my performance last year and finished 3rd in men's singles and placed 2nd in the only 32 man tourney I entered.

I do this every practice and have never counted it lol.I do remember last year going from 11 to bull out in 13 darts,which included 14 to 20 with only 2 misses.Trouble is when I do it if I miss with 3 clean dart at a double I put myself back to the previous double as a punishment so I can be on double 12 and end up back at double 6...

For instance pick your 6 fav doubles and play til you hit each of them twice in a single throw this makes you really concentrate on darts 1 and 2 and also makes you tend to throw directly at you target and not waste darts the way you might in round the clock since you don't always have three darts at a double in a real match .That said there is nothing that brings your game on like competition so go to them and play and good luck

I nearly quit when throwing for my favorite double 15, it took me the most out of all doubles (including bull!), it took me 20 darts! My final score was 166, which is a new best since it was the first time I tried it. Something else funny: I hit bullseye with my first dart of the 56th throw, then kept going for the bull, threw a single bull and then another bullseye: 125 checkout!

Greaser5550 is probably gonna have kittens when he reads this but my best 501 leg is 11 darts done it once about 30 years ago {yes Im that old lol} and after a gap of not playing for about 26 years did another 11 about 2 years ago.The closest I came to a 9 darter was 7 T20s and hit just inside the treble 2 instead of the T15!!! for 81 checkout absolutley gutted I fired off at the D18 anyway and hit it with the 9th but in retrospect should have shot at T17 to leave myself D12 with my 10th dart .thats probably the closest I will get to hitting a 9 darter.
