Awesome twirling! I’m using twirling practice for hand strength and coordination at age 54. I loved twirling in high school! Funny memory: marching in a parade with our baton squad, we had some simple twirling combinations that we did along the way. Our parade uniforms added a cape and hat with a feathered plume. Since we twirled in uniform and boots only, I guess I was a little too confident. Well... the first time we did an overhead swing, my baton collided with the metal of the feathered plume and I almost knocked myself backwards. Not funny then, but funny as heck later. I absolutely loved being a Majorette in the early 80’s! Thanks for your videos- very inspiring. 😎🤟🏼

My advice is to practice daily. You would be amazed at the difference 15 minutes a day can make, but even more is better. Another bit of advice is to not give up. I almost quit baton when I was 10 over a thumb toss! Glad I didn't! Good luck! Keep watching! Twirl on!!

Will you ever make more twirling videos? For routines and such? I find that your channel is one of the best and has great tutorials, and since I don’t have A teacher these really help!

Can you do advanced because I am a advanced twirler but these are a little to easy so if you can start with advanced that would be great thank you

Hey Annmarie! My videos will grow in difficulty as my channel progresses. I am starting with the basics so everyone can build from them. For example, I could go ahead and teach back neck rolls, but what if you don't even know how to do a neck trap? Then you will probably be completely lost and learn the move incorrectly. My channel is progressing in difficulty, so keep watching and twirl on!!

I've been twirling for a while, you should check out my video and give tips ? We do this move alot but instead of calling them flourishes we call them flashes and a backwards flourish is a backscratch lol.
