Exactly ! I always take the cheese off before microwaving these if you don't it just makes a mess of the cheese. If you want the cheese melted just put it back on when you take it out of the microware. It's plenty hot enough to melt the cheese and it turns out just right. Great video.

Do not follow the instructions on the package. Get the frozen sandwich, wrap in a paper towel and put it on a plate. Microwave for 40 seconds, turn the sandwich over and microwave for another 40 seconds and that is all. Perfect cooked sandwich.

I tried this but a bit quicker. 30 seconds on high. Then removed the bread and cheese. Toasted the biscuit and wrapped the egg and sausage back in the microwave for a minute and it was perfect. Note: I never put the cheese in the microwave either time. The hot toast and sausage melted it perfectly.

Just leaving the sandwich intact & microwave until it's hot, it's simple, don't make it less simple.

Microwave for 40 seconds then flip & microwave for another 40... It's much more delicious & if Jimmy dean had these cooking instructions, their breakfast sandwiches sales would definitely increase..

I have just been wrapping it in a paper towel and microwave it for 1 min 30 secs, and that's it. What happens is that the bun sometimes becomes hard on the edge. I'd rather have it soft. I am going to try making it like shown here, but not with mustard. It's a breakfast biscuit, for heaven's sake. Use jelly, if you must.

My hubby calls that kind of mustard “egg mustard”.
