I saved this recipe almost a year ago and decided to make it tonight. I was kinda going from memory and only put in one can of apples!!!! I decided to watch the video again while it was cooking, and realized my mistake. Quickly removed most of the cake mix and butter ... added the 2nd can of apples and put everything back in. It's cooking now. Should be done in a few hours. Can't wait. The moral of the story ... I will watch the video FIRST next time. 🙂🙂🙂

Hello Tom Friday 8 November 2024 Few days ago Frigidaire stopped dispensing Water through the door. Thought not gonna bother with that until we are feeling better. Today husband warned you are almost outta ice. That’s pretty serious problem now, without ice there ain’t gonna be any iced tea. Can live without iced coffee but to not have iced tea is unimaginable. Southuns love iced tea. Think we view Tea as its own food group. Began searching for frigidaire doesn’t dispense water. And choose to watch this video. Thank you for going to all the trouble of reliving how you repaired your fridge. Thank Kay for solving our problem too! Our filter was froze solid. Right now it’s laying in kitchen window basking in bright sunlight thawing. Are near us? We are in East Tennessee.

I have GE 25.5 Cu Ft French door Model # GFE26JSMSS SKU: 6191448 Owner Manual says backed-up ice can jam the chute or cause the door in the chute to freeze shut but it doesn’t say how to unfreeze it. We have banged on the ice bucket but it still won’t come out. Please help. Should I try the blow dryer trick?
