Love the series, man. I've got to have one of these after learning so much about it. The theme music is super catchy. Sounds like a game show from the 70's. Stellar composition. Love it!

The VCA gain control was one of the features in the 2600 which had a certain guy named Joe who thought he could report the weather during the 70s totally baffled. “Hey man, the sound is fantastic! Now tell me, how do you make it stop?” Is there a way without having to get nodular with this model that the AR envelope can be redirected to control the LFO rate instead of the filter or the amplifier? Could that be achieved with osc. 1 in lo-frequency mode in conjunction with its ADSR slider? The idea would be to duplicate the beginning of the Steve Miller Band’s “Jungle Love” and No Doubt’s “Hey Baby”.

Oh yeah you can get it with the ADSR controlling VCO 1 in LF mode and grabbing that from the SH mixer to mod VCO 2. Looks like SMB used the Odyssey for that sound in just this way. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnjOmGZ5oJhqoZI

Is there any way you could make one with the korg sq-1 and other back plug in features?
