I'm literally Wayne and Garth when it comes to Malmsteen. WE'RE NOT WORTHY! WE'RE NOT WORTHY!
@maestroaxeman5 ай бұрын
Same. I was just recently discussing with the official street team on Facebook & said: "Official Yngwie Malmsteen The show my son, one of my guitar student/friends & I went to was STELLAR. I am 100% POSITIVE Yngwie was playing TO my son...because he pointed to him, showed off his skills & "kicked" about 6 or 8 guitar picks his way (he got one amid the frenzy...with me overlooking the situation)🎶🎸 The crowd was decent enough to let my son grab a pick😎 After the show, I was hanging with the 1st act band & the openers...& once the opportunity opened up (while chatting with Kurt & Phil) we asked one of the "street team" if "The Maestro was available" 🤔🎶🎸😎 Clearly seeming "annoyed" that my son & I would ask...he scoffed & said (in a rather nasty tone): "Allriiight...I go see." & he returned WAY TOO SOON to arrogantly ask if we "paid for the pre-show meet&greet"🙄😒 Clearly annoyed at that moment, I quipped: "Nope. I'm a typical broke-assed musician. I don't think you talked to Yngwie at all...& I couldn't afford $300 for my son & I; to support his Ferarri habit anyhow." Kurt chuckled lightly & the trio from the 1st act (Alpha Venturi) gasped, then laughed🤣 I will return Oct 8th to witness Yngwie play live (what can I say? I'm a fan🎶🎸😎)...but if I repeat the ultra-rare possibility of merely meeting the maestro & talking ANYTHING BUT guitars (he's a car guy & I'm a gearhead/motorhead...& music is BUSINESS...who wants to ALWAYS "talk business" anyway🤔🙄😒😉) for 30 seconds & POSSIBLY "snap a pic"...that'd be fine. The ONLY THING that I MIGHT say remotely (regarding "the business") is ask him what it's truly like to chat with Rick Beato...besides what we saw in that awesome interview🤔😎 Rick is basically doing what I'd like to do: Work in the "industry" background. Show public appreciation for music...for MUSIC'S SAKE. & most importantly: Do it because WE love it🎶❤ Peace🎶🙏 Send Maestro YJM my warmest regards🎶🎸😎 P.S. To "add to wit" & just because I believe YOU are "worthy"...I think it'd be AWESOME if Rick Beato (a KZbinr) had another excellent KZbinr (your good self) on an interview...as fans & lovers of music alike...who happen to BE KZbinrs🎶😎👍

Great cover. This was the first neoclassical metal piece I ever heard. It completely opened up a new world of guitar playing for me. I grew up listening to more blues based rock (AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses ect). I had no idea this kind of music existed. My brain exploded as I thought “You can play stuff like THIS on guitar!!?”

Just about my exact story! Was listening to lots of 80s hair metal at the time (wasp, ratt, dokken, crue) it was a religious experience when I heard Yngwie

Actually, it appears as a bonus track on his album Relentless! Still, some of his craziest playing ever if you can believe it! Of course, you NAILED this one to the floor and did so with precision, panache, and dare I say, perfection!

Oh man I can totally vibe with the Instructional Videos hype. I actually got obsessed with them too early in my guitar journey so I just "watched" them without learning anything lol, but Yngwie definitely left a mark. This version of Arpeggios always stuck with me, the later-recorded album version is cool, but this is still THE version for me. Love that you went for the overall feel of those licks in the instructional version while still showing your own flavor in them. You nailed it brother!

@@331Erock Honestly Erock, I'm pretty sure you can play a lot of stuff that Yngwie can't. Check Jari Mäenpää's "I can't Yngwie" video and see if you can do that. Jari says he can't "Yngwie", yet he's playing the song 40% faster than Yngwie :D

OH MY!! This is EXCELLENT! That's one of those Mystic 90's vids Yngwie did with the bookshelves full of scrolls in the background! I really really dig 1:14-1:30. The whole thing is just as enjoyable as the first time I watched the original! (which I've seen thousands of times) If you were to cover others, I love his bookshelf-scroll versions of the Deja Vu and Seventh Sign solos.

I'm curious about your backing track, it's much better than his backing track on the video, with the weird drum machine, etc. It would have been nice if he had used the studio tracks from Multo Arpeggioso, just crop & edit to make the shorter track for AFH. Oh well, still loved it anyway LOL. Did you create your track yourself? Really excellent! 💯 ✌️😎👍
