Turns out the victim is not a victim he was found dead with a ski mask and gun and multiple witnesses said that he was actually following the shooter with a big group before being shot.

Well, it won't be the last. Kids have no consequences. No respect, when ride their bikes on the middle of the street. I haven't seen police or Sheriff dept do anything about that. In the shadows of Bakerfield, I see it happening over the years. I can step out of my door and see kids walking around the streets after 12 midnight. Kids have no reason to be out after 12 at night. It's only a story because it happened at the Marketplace. Murders happen every month all over Kern County, but there's no vigils. I must blame the parents. The parents know their kids are going on three roads. Road 1 lawbiding, Road 2 Prison, Road 3 the cemetery. One more thing stop calling Gun Violence. It's a family parenting problem.

I highly doubt that’s true. You can have the best parents out there and it’s still completely useless when you’re living within a rough society. Kids will end up going to the same schools with other kids who don’t have good parents and learn everything that you tried to hide from them there. Unless they never walk outside they’ll also be exposed to the reality of their community conditions, this includes gangs, sex, drugs, homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, etc.
