I promise you these women don’t want this life. Their abuser/predator/trafficker gets them addicted to drugs first to keep them compliant and addicted, alongside other threats & psychological manipulation and brainwashing. Law enforcement needs to do better on cracking down on this and actually rescuing these women. We need to form and offer Rehabilitation options for them not just to get them clean but to help them through the transitionary period (from caged, used and abused to freedom) a safe place with kind and loving assistance through their Transition towards a new, renewed whole and healthy life. That statistic about only 1% survive trafficking is horrific this is beyond criminal, humanity needs to get to work and do better.
