Was at college in the mid 90's when tunes like this were around. Best era for original hip hop 🎼🎼🎧🎧🎤🎤🎤🎹🎹🎹

THIS is not a song. This is poetry at it's finest. This is a story. This is a tale that you can share with someone that needs inspiration or motivation. For the ones that are lost, this song is a path to enlightenment. I was driving to work today and a Lil' Wayne song came on, I had the urge to flip the dial but I listened just to see what the hell he is saying in his lyrics... and as you might have guessed, he said nothing that is worth caring for. Soon as I got to my comp. I looked for this.

This is what hip-hop is all about. Hip-hop today is crap, but the older songs like this one are awesome. I remember this song from the good old days, and it was one of my favorites. This is definitely a classic!

@rocabear I'm 30 and when I was 15 I started listening to all that same music, and I haven't stopped. That music is so much more real than what people bring to the table these days (Except Jay Z, but he lumps in with these guys as well). Good job on the listening.

I'm from Georgia. About 20 minutes north of downtown Atlanta. I moved to South Florida a few years back and I'm close to graduating high school. And damn, everytime I hear the chorus to this song I can't help but close my eyes and think of all the good times in the A-Town and Georgia. Which is funny, cause the songs called Tennessee. Hahah fuck it, I love this song, I love & miss Georgia. Peace.
