Yesterday I got in an argument with my parents about the direction of my life, they were encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone and do something unordinary. Every time they gave me a valid reason to do it I always came up with an excuse until my mom told me to stop letting my what if’s dictate my life. I asked God yesterday to help me to overcome my insecurities, today your video popped up. Thank you for allowing God to use you. Your sermons helped me a lot today and will help me as I continue to make future life decisions. Also please pray for me God has really been showing me a lot and it’s very scary for me.

You are definitely not alone!! Everyone's insecurity surfaces in different ways for each of us. Mine looks like fear and constant doubting of myself to step out on faith and accomplish things that are foreign or new to me. I also have a problem with uncomfortable situations where I shy away from them because I don't like conflict. I'm not afraid of confrontations and I will give a fight if necessary but oftentimes it leads to me cursing someone out so I try to avoid at all costs lmbo!!!

I'm a little older evangelistI can relate to everything you're saying I use these tools you're speaking of when I had to call in on my life and I didn't know it was to be an evangelist I was everywhere but there and as you say you have to listen to God and once I became focus he had me using my evangelism doing abundance of things and to this day I'm still doing though I've enjoyed listening to all your sermons. So thankful for this ministry. I recently started watching Dr. Dharius Daniels of Change Church and I'm glad I've stumbled upon this ministry. I've been struggling in this area for so, so long. Recently even, I've been so convinced that my insecurities have made me a failure in every regard at life. If I can speak to all the single people on here in their late 20s, that is where one of my biggest insecurities have been. But I declare right now in the name of Jesus that his ways and his plans are always so much greater than I can ever picture or imagine. We need to break free from our insecurities. I like what Pastor Dharius said about accepting God's assistance. We need to do that more often because this world is so lost and broken without Jesus. I shouldn't be alive today, but it was thanks to Jesus that my life has been transformed. I owe the Lord thanks where all credit is due. Insecurities suck, but this sermon reminded me of my calling to keep camping out in the word of God and to remember how faithful God always us.

Bible verse - Jeremiah 1:6-8 1) Watch your words - Your words affect your heart and your heart affects your words. Your words are food that feed insecurity and whatever you feed gets stronger. (verse 6-7) 2) Don't focus on faces - Obedience to God cannot and should not be hindered by the opinions of people. (verse 8) + (proverbs 29:25) 3) Accept God's assistance - If you will fight against your insecurities, God will be with you. He will deliver you and rescue you. You will not get clarity on your calling until you address your insecurities because once your calling is revealed, it must be accepted. (verse 8) It takes greatness not just to acknowledge your calling but to embrace it. Honour your assignment not your ambition.
