Arrival - ABBA/Mike Oldfield Cover by Steve Reynolds

"Arrival" is a 1976 composition by Swedish pop group ABBA featured on their album of the same name. It is an instrumental piece, mainly the brainchild of member Benny Andersson and had the working titles of "Fiol", "Ode to Dalecarlia" and "Arrival in Dalecarlia".

ABBA's Arrival album was one of their best, and this was the only instrumental that they played. Very well played, the tone of your les paul was the perfect choice for this cover. I have always been a fan of ABBA, a lot of their hits make great guitar instrumental tunes. Thanks again Steve.

This is a departure from Hank Marvin Steve but expertly played. I struggle with my acoustic guitars due to the neck size and my arthritic left thumb but strangely i can still play my electric mandolin! I might see what this sounds like on that? Hoping that treatment I am getting may allow me to get back onto my Strat again some time🤷🏼‍♂️👍🏻
