I'm still finding this tragic news very ,very, hard to believe!!! It so unreal like a bad dream that won't stop. I only knew Steve through his channel and youtube videos. He answered a number of my questions during his "lockdown" specials. A wonderful man and guitarist!! So so sad!! RIP STEVE!

Oh my god. We all thought it was a technical fault. I am so so sorry many of us have never met Steve in person but with his Regular shows it felt like he was living next door to everyone. This young man started me playing my guitar after 35 years he gave me so much help with his recommendations about his love of playing. Everyone looked forward to his lockdowns it kept everyone going and something to look forward to. Steve you will truly be missed such a talented young man happy to make mistakes on air but always laughed it off. I send my best wishes to his family and the guys who worked with him and to all the followers like me who looked up to Steve for inspiration. And I’m sure everyone who picks up their guitar and plays will think of Steve. I know I will, especially Wonderful Land. Your Dad would have been proud of you for the help you gave to others. I was coming in to check why there was not any new clip broadcast for a while, I suddenly realised this is not Ok as I'm used on seeing new clips from Steve on a weekly basis. I see the comments here and it's like a knife through my heart to see that Steve passed away. I followed him for years and it was a pleasure to hear his playing and commentary, such a gentle nice person. With tears in my eyes I bid you farewell. My condolences to his loved ones.
