When Palace came to Melbourne a couple of years ago, was first in line to get a ticket. We know these are not meaningful games but it enables us to get just a taste of being game day fan. The meet up down the pub with supporters from around the world, the walk to the grounds,, the singing, the atmosphere….all just really special. It means so much to us. And Ange is just so loved here…people are coming to see him as much if not more than the players. Hopefully Spurs put on a show but even if they don’t no one will care. Welcome to Melbourne, enjoy and rug up its getting bloody cold!

That roof was the first of it's kind. It has no support beams, the roof holds itself up. And the tubes that border the pentagons or whateveragons catch water and carry it to a catchment underneath to be used for all the toilets and things like that. It was designed to be drought proof because Melbourne does get drought that at sometimes last a decade.

Interesting you should mention that Ange or his personality is actually helping to grow the fan base, at least outside of England. I'd never thought about that and I guess it explains the reason for this game. Extra fans = extra revenue = more or better players able to be purchased. Win for Spurs. I'm thinking that Newcastle may be cast in the role of bad boys for this match. I presume that it will almost be like a Tottenham home match, because Ange is involved and your in his home city.
