They had better hold them accountable, because we the public are now watching closely. If the new government doesn't, they are culpable as well. Different colors of the same team. Proceeds of crime will be confiscated, and the full weight of the law applied to those found guilty. An example needs to be made, with actual prison sentances, to deter others from engaging in corruption.
