Looks like a Lovely site.. perfect place to take our 2 year old granddaughter, especially the pool as she’s just started swimming lessons and absolutely loves it ❤ there looks like lots to do in the area. She loves Castles and walking so really enjoys your visits to them. Lovely video as always. Thank you Bob & Jenny ❤

We can’t believe how calm the water and harbour was. The harbour was roped off as the sea was crashing over the wall. We like Stonehaven and can’t wait to see your video of the castle 👍🏻😃🚐 Trev n Sue

We absolutely love Queen Elizabeth 11 park, Stonehaven, we have visited three times now & it just seems to get better and better. Besides the very well run site, the beach is literally 30 seconds from the site & into the town within ten minutes. It has a coop supermarket aswell as a good varied range of shops. Number 44 bar & restaurant is very reasonably priced & dog friendly. The harbour is charming & there are some terrific stainless steel models of ships, and a lighthouse etc along the coastal path to the harbour. Wonderful to see it again, thanks Bob & Jenny.

We were on the same site 3 weeks ago - looks like ‘summer’ still hasn’t arrived despite it moving into July. But I did have my first ever deep fried Mars bar from the chippie in the town that claims it invented them. Great fish ‘n chips ….. first and likely last battered Mars bar, mind….

Like the Stonehaven site but tend to save it for Easter or October when the prom is less busy ... makes for easier access towing. In the summer I go over the hill to Silverbank the CAMC site at Banchory. In fact just left there and now on my favourite CL outside Fraserburgh

Dog Friendly in Stonehaven - Number 44 for great pub food, and Cool Gourmet for great Soup and Sandwiches. Other places worth a mention for being nice, Yhe Old Pier, The Ship Inn, The Marine, The Carron, The Bay, Waterfront cafe. For Ice Cream - Aunt Betty’s, Bucket & Spade and ‘Giullionoti E’.

Good video Bob. Love the Stonehaven Site nicely presented roads and pitches. On the shore front and within walking distance of the town. Guess Scotland can get it right sometimes.

Eating out seems to be expensive everywhere, we were in an ordinary Harvesters restaurant in Perth last night and it worked out at £30 each and that was one drink and no sweet for me ☺. Hope you had nice drive up to Huntly.

Yes, it does tend to eat the pennies up, but beats cooking! The drive to Huntly was pretty good with the A90.

I watched Glyns video just before yours, and your sat nav’s sent you in different directions when you left the caravan site, we have only been on one caravan and Motorhome club site were you had to take your rubbish to main refuge point, every other one we have stayed at still have the normal small bins dotted around the site, but won’t be long before more have the one main refuge point, and how long will it be they start charging for the electric you use, I know they have done a trial somewhere, thanks for your video Bob and Jenny, 👍👍.
@BobEarnshawMoHo6 ай бұрын
They will all have the 'central' bins by the entrance soon. Ashridge Farm has had the charging post installed, so that's coming soon. I disobeyed Mrs Sat Nag when we came out of Forfar. 😀

Hi Bob random question for you about wifi, do you find your net gear good for wifi when up Scotland (we're not sure to get a netgear or starlink for best coverage) ? Any ideas thanks😊
@BobEarnshawMoHo6 ай бұрын
The Netgear router works well with a decent signal and doesn't need an aerial. Starlink is £75/month for the basic service and you do need good weather and line of sight to the satellites. I'm not sure I can justify the cost.
@chrissey6636 ай бұрын
@BobEarnshawMoHo great thanks Bob yes it's alot of money a month! I think I'll get a netgear, we we're just wondering weather we'd get a good enough signal up north. Your reply is much appreciated thank you 😊
@BobEarnshawMoHo6 ай бұрын
@chrissey663 signal in Scotland is often better than down south, depending on your provider of course. We're on EE on the Netgrear and Vodafone on the built in WiFi.
