We love Taiwan! I find it weird that hardly any Australians know anything about Taiwan or go there. Whenever we tell people we are going to Taiwan they say where Thailand? I kind of like it though coz we're not surrounded by other western tourists like places likes thailand and bali. Taiwan and its people are beautiful!

I just did this not too long ago with a different company! We ended up having the most amazing adventure in Switzerland but honestly the best part was the buildup to it without knowing where we were going. We had so much adrenaline on our way to the airport! Have the best time in Taipei!! It’s so cool there!

What an adventure! I did this once with Jet Blue. They booked me on a trip to one of their routes and then I got to help volunteer on the ground once I arrived. It was so fun to be surprised with a trip to the Dominican Republic! And even more exciting finding out at the airport!

I was “Made in Taiwan”(more specifically Taipei, near the famous Taipei 101 high rise building) And my dad was raised in Kaohsiung after immigrating from mainland China. And we have family living there now and in Taipei. Lots of culture to see and scenic views and awesome foods. Try Juan bing for breakfast. oyster omelette later in the day. Lots of streets markets to explore. Enjoy! Looking onward to your other upcoming vlogs as you experience a bit Taiwan! Definitely a country you can plan to go back and more cities later also. Very inexpensive compared to Luther countries to live and eat.

I tentatively guessed Vietnam, so not too far away lol. Taiwan imo is actually a really great place to visit. Wasn't much on my radar when I visited with my parents, but it's awesome. The scenery, nature, friendly people, modern cities, traditional culture including aboriginal culture, and of course the food. It should be better known outside Asia. I think you'll really enjoy yourselves. Later that same year (2012) I went to Sri Lanka, another amazing island I highly recommend to people. Look forward to seeing what you get up to!

My rugby team do this every year in April! Two of the club members organise a 4 day rugby tour to a destination in Europe and they announce where we're going at the airport. It's so much fun! Last year was Warsaw ✈️😁
