Arriving in Armenia (Lori Castle)

The border crossing into Armenia was uneventful as we were lucky to be allowed to overtake the queue with trucks. The weather turned bad so we looked of a nearby site to camp. Lori Castle was nearby. We parked there and spent the night there while the rain was tipping it down. The next morning all was clear and we had a look around at the castle. It is always interesting to see how they efficiently used natural barriers in the design of castles and forts. We were also surprised to see many stork nests in the middle of town. We since have seen this quite often. Next stop was the nearby town to get cash and local sim cards. Let the Armenia adventure begin!
