Kia orana! I'm from the island of Rarotonga (Vaka Takitumu lessgoooo!) and I happened to stumble across this video and I loved every moment of it! I also had a bit of laugh because one minute into your video, I see my aunty and uncle in the corner LOL. It was so heart-warming hearing Yen pronounce our reo like local and seeing all the amazing food you tried! Got me a feeling a little homesick but I'm so glad I watched this video! Meitaki ma'ata and kia manuia!

Im from raro but live in Auckland NZ and i didnt realise they were doing this nowadays wow. 3 homes serving raro home made food.. wow. Thats different and cool at the same time.. I guess it is a different experience if youre having food at like the hotels or resorts that serve higher end foods in comparison to home made local style cooked and served.. thats a pretty awesome experience.. I think price wise it seemed a little bit much but then again food is expensive back at home... its always best to buy your own meat, snacks for eg chips and even juice bottles etc they are quite expensive in the islands..but all in all i really enjoyed your video. The content is amazing! I loved every single thing about it. You guys have great personalities and video/film presentation! I think you guys will go a long way. Aww we're going to be overseas from July until the end of the year 😅 so not sure about that meet up either. The progressive dinner was one of the best experiences ever! Hope we're able to do that in every country we go to. It's a fast way track to understanding a culture. You should do it next time 😁👍

Amazing views and the food island styles. Amazing, looks just like Hawaii without the big crowds. I just looked up Rarotonga and it's not too far from Hawaii, pretty close to Fiji, Samoa and Tahiti. I enjoy how you edit and adding the prices in US dollars, which is helpful for travelers looking to vacation, and those tips are perfect too!

Great summary of rarotonga it is an amazing place for sure. All the Pacific islands are reasonably close to each other but if you live in US will be a lil further for you to get there. We're glad you enjoyed these videos we think they are some of the best ones we've put together yet 😁👍

Hey Peter and Yen, another awesome video guys! We actually thought and considered to visit Cook Islands a few months ago, but damn we stopped the plan coz we didn't have enough leave (poor us office workers lol). We might eventually do it in the future and thank God you guys made the video out of it, because we don't actually have any idea what to do and what to visit in Cook Islands. (The only reason we wanted to visit initially was that there was a double status run happening on a frequent flyer program and Cook Islands was one of the best route from Melbourne to achieve gold status LOL 😆) All those foods you guys had at the progressive dinner experience, WOW we want that too! They all looked so yummy 😍 Now we are convinced that Cook Islands is worth the visit. Can't wait to watch the next two episodes!

Ooo guys you should totally visit once you have enough leave too. It's an amazing location and the food is fantastic provided you love seafood and fruits 😁🐟👍 I think we cover off a fair bit of stuff in the 3 episode to help make your planning easier but if you have any additional questions let us know 👌😊 it's a pace of life that you take a day to adjust to then once you're in raro pace it's so magical. @@PeterandYen yes we are! only for a day trip.. I found hotels so much more expensive when I was looking. Food is double the price there too. We booked the excursion through Air Rarotonga picks you up at your hotel takes you to the airport includes the plane ride then a tour of the island then a lagoon tour lunch the plane ride back and the bus ride back to the hotel was $985 NZD for 2. Expensive but thats ok. Cheaper then staying there.
