11:40 & 12:20 should’ve had PIP video with it of a few full pulls at home after this run. It was hot this day about 95 degrees so that’s not ideal weather for speed runs. Massive fan upgrades coming. Motor never even got warm though at home after 3 minutes of 50-100% throttle.

I'm just now getting into RC cars my first one is the felony my son bought it for me for my birthday little did he know you have to buy the batteries separate lol but went to hobby galore here in Columbus Ohio got me some batteries and let me just say this is been the most fun I've had since I was a kid I'm not a big video game player I like to tinker around with stuff take stuff apart put it back together and this is a perfect hobby for me but it is a little on the expensive side

If it runs good in there I’m getting another for the 1/5 Outcast EXB. Good thing is now I have 2 extra 1250kv 8s motors. 1/8 EXB Mojave & Kraton upgrade coming 👊👊👍👍

I was in the same thoughts, want a on road rc? Small ,big? Got the limitless and max8 w/ 2000kv surpass (cheap motor!) 87mph pinion 27th,spool 39th. 2 3sZee 8000mah 100c. Weather too hot or dam rain!! Soon hope to speed test with 34 th spool and 27th pinion,maybe 100mph? Good to see you enjoying the hobby. Dam rain all weekend!!!! I know we need it😪

Sounds like you should easily hit 100 mph with the bigger pinion. I’m thinking 103-106 mph. 👍👍👍 That’s a big pinion for that motor make sure to keep an eye on temps. I definitely want a limitless in the line up for speed runs. I understand about the weather I’m in NJ ans it’s been a hot summer!!! Rain is good for everything around us except Rc cars!!!!

@@Addicted_2RC I should b re break 100mph. Yea temps will get up on 34spool and 27pinion! I have the same problem remembering my temp gun!!!! This east coast weather is getting on my nerves! Rain on and off all weekend. Not sure what kv motor to replace the surpass, 1900kv or 2200kv? August maybe I'll change it?

Nice street bash, but that area was way too small for those trucks. I have a much bigger parking lot close to me and I still run out of room immediately. I have my Felony on 8s and my Infraction V2 is still stock. On 8s with 34/47 gearing, the Felony is MUCH FASTER. I've been able to hit like 85mph before I ran out of room at my spot. Cheers 👍

Please help and suggest Felony looks so awesome and tempting but has rear tires and different differentials whereas Infraction is same platform all rounder with okish looks. Please help whether I should go with Felony or infraction

Have you tried the gold hoons for straight line drags?? They don’t last long but the grip is quite a bit better for straight lines. Of course your running 8s so I can’t say for sure if power is your problem

I was thinking the same thing about the gold hoons and yes I do have a set. Gold hoons will be on next run to test out. 👊👊👍👍 I bought them for winter runs but never ran them. I’ve only ever ran white hoons. I’m going to buy some grps as well to test. I’ve never pulled the trigger on those because they’re just a bit smaller overall. 👊👊👍👍

Congratulations on the purchase but that sure stinks that it has no power. I left an RC with a friend before and it came back with a fried motor. 🤔🤔 very easy to overheat an infraction. Fixing and upgrading these RC cars is pretty much a regular thing. If you need help give some specifics on what the car is doing. 👊👊👍👍

I ran my v2 today first time since Christmas...I added the hobbywing esc before I ran it once!!! 6s ...86 mph!!! I was scared to run it wide open ...My question is the castle 2200kv or 1100kv?

Maybe the esc blew up because you were drifting it around on the speed gearing

Yeah no good after 2 runs to go up like that. Yes I have a tire problem they usually don’t last an entire battery pack. I guess with this one I gotta pay to play!!! I think I’ve gone through 8 or 9 sets of tires so far. 🤣🤣🤣🤣💨💨💨💨💨💨

Literally went through the same thing. brand new just got it. ESC caught on fire. But I call and got a replacement. Arrma don't know why this keep happeneding

On this video, they were using the speed pinion for street bashing. You are not supposed to do that. What gearing were you using? I've had no issues with my Infraction V2 with the stock electronics and stock gearing. Even when driving it hard non stop 🤷

Dude, you ARE NOT supposed to run the speed pinion non stop. You guys didn't know that?? That was your fault. It says it in the manual and even Amain mentioned it on a video. Not trying to be an ass but that one was on you. I drove my Felony with the speed pinion and only did speed passes, but too many of the them, and I also fried my stock spectrum ESC. MY FAULT too 🤣

I'm well aware about not running the speed pinion non stop. In fact my Infraction is running the 8S Spektrum system. I can usually run with no issues as far as overheating but chefbeadrdsly wasn't so lucky this time. It was pretty hot this day and I even mentioned to Chef about running the speed pinion. His response was to just rip it!! At least Horizon Hobby replaced his damaged parts
