Arrma Kraton 6s V5 - RPM rear A-Arms do not match up with stock locations.

Hey bud RPM will have the newer V5 versions out in couple months per RPM rep. fyi if you use the V4 hinge pins and suspension mounts all that stuff will fit if you can't wait

That is good to know, thank you for the information. I already purchased the blue V4 arms and mounted them and I am using them with a new V4 sway bar and the shocks at a steeper angle than I would like. I will keep an eye out for the new V5 version(hopefully in BLUE).

@@foreverlost8578 The shocks are at a steeper angle because the V5 shock tower is not compatible with the V4. V4 a-arms either stock or RPM, Simply have no compatibility option with the V5 shock tower. Now if you want to use rpm a arms on your V5, then it is recommended to simply switch over to the V4 shock tower. You did right by switching the sway bar, that was a necessity and the pins. However I’m not sure if you were aware of this but the holes for the droop screws are actually way off, (if you’re using rpm a arms) where pressing on the V5 chassis. Now if you are a V4 owner, and you want to upgrade to the V5 a arms everything’s fine because they did put a hole farther out on the ARms themselves to accommodate for the V4 tower. Anyway if you’re still running rpm a arms you might wanna take a look at your droop screw situation, and change your shock tower over to the M2C V4 version to get your shocks put back at the right angle👍

Finally i thought i was the only one who had this issue. I managed to get a longer sway bar however its slightly thicker so the rear sway bar cover doesnt screw in properly so the cover at the back is no longer flush cos the sway bar is thicker. I have no solution😭

Links for the sway bar replacement are on the bottom of the video. It is the sway bar from the Kraton V4, they changed the geometry of the shock and sway from the v4 to the v5. Also, the sway bar covers have very small grub screws in them to adjust on the sway bar. If you have not yet adjusted those very small grub screws, that may be what is causing the issue. I purchased both front & rear a-arms (blue). Is this problem for the rear only or do I have to get a swaybar for the front as well?

The suspension arms on my V5 kraton are pretty beefy already. I think it's the same as the exb suspension arms. I like RPM but I just don't have the need to replace my V5 arms. However it would be great if RPM had front bumper available for the V5 kraton.

Thank you for the reply, I have RPM front bumper on my v5 Kraton, just ordered the one off amazon. Had to stack it right over the STOCK one since the front hinge pins are held in by the smaller bumper. I eventually added the front hinge pin assemble from M2C racing that allowed me to finally remove that small stock bumper.

They are beefy but not as much as I would like, unfortunately today in my first run with my v5 I broke the right rear arm 😢, cold weather so let’s not blame arrma for that, so I ordered the new rpm arms for the v5 specifically, part number RPM-81722

informative video. thanks! I now have this problem too. And in addition, my Kraton is now lower in the back than in the front. no idea if i did something wrong? is it because of the other position of mounting the shock absorber? can someone give me some info? Thanks very much!
