Body reamer and scissors work a world of wonders! Most hobby shops have plenty of them. The body scissors I've used were slightly curved and basically the cutting area was about 1.5" long. And the reamers, super sharp, punch a hole and slowly ream it to the size you need. As far as the bumpers, you've mentioned the best, T Bone is great. I'd roll with that.

I've always like rc cars also, it's always been my go to when I get bored with other projects, I've been building my hellcat durango lately and I go to rc vehicles when I need time away from my other projects. I just picked up a rtr outcast exb 6s and that sucker is a beast. Glad to see other car people into the rc hobby, please consider following my page also, my videos aren't as good as yours but im working on it.

I'd put an Kraton 6s EXB Bumper on that. You can probably find em cheap on ebay too as allot of people break exb rollers apart to sell those parts

Have you changed the side guards out on the truck or is there a gap between the body and the side guards? Great how to btw!

It's been a while but I think they were the Noto ones, mostly bolt on just some slight shaving around the base plate. Easy stuff to make it perfect.
