Arrma Mojave 4s gets Kraton V5 6s System!!!

As awesome as the new Arrma Mojave 4s is I wanted to make use of that wheelie bar similar to what I did with my Senton so I put a 6s system in it out of a new Kraton 6s and she wheelies for days!

Thats great you got the 6s system in there. I recently bought the 4s version but did not like the way the esc and motor performed so I ended up losing a bunch of money trading it for a 6s Mojave. After seeing this, it makes me wonder if I made the right choice because this here is awesome! The 4s system, at least to me drove similar to a Traxxas 3s VXL vechile. The Rator R in particular felt nearly identical. They both do alot of surging and cogging, especially the 3s VXL systems at slow to medium speeds. Almost as if they are either overgeared or over-batteried out of the box. 2s in the VXL/Raptor R and 3s in the 4s Mojave made things a bit smoother but then you sacrifice sigificant speed capabilities which ended up annoying me.

I ❤ your comment because it was evident that you had other rigs to compare the Mojave 4s performance to. Thank you for this. While I can't speak to the performance of any Traxxas rig, I can tell you that the Mojave 4s was buttery smooth at all stages for me. I just wanted to make use of that wheelie bar and, well, you see what happened 😄 I had so much fun! This is what it's all about. And I wonder if these rigs have a bit of tinkerability left in them by design to satisfy that other itch we have. I for one don't want a perfect rig out of the box. Just something I can make my own and enjoy even more and the Mojave 4s is definitely that. Thanks again and don't forget the fun!

What affect would it have to use this 150 esc on a stock Mojave 4s? If I was to only change to the biggger esc? Any change to performance?

You would be able to pull more amps out of your batteries without running into heat issues. Plus a little better overall performance. HH had a sale on 150a escs half price a minute ago. Maybe check it out.

Not sure what you mean by hold it? I'm watching this video right now and I was using the stock gearing, 16t pinion. Got 65mph 😁 Might try for 70 with an 18t pinion.

@@bigbristv the spur gear didn’t hold, it exploded into multiple pieces. I have the 18 pinion gear on it with the 6S motor and ECU 😅

@kevinrivera8240 Ouch. My spur is holding on very well thru all sorts of madness I've put it thru. I did have a bearing seize up on the spur assembly so you may want to check that. I keep extra bearings now because of that. And make sure I clean it good after every dirty run.

I was considering getting a 6s also but the way this one is built, you get more for less even with the upgrades. I'd be going backwards 😁

@@bigbristv I apologize, I reread my comment and came off as a jerk. I understand the "mini" Mojave. Doing the same thing as the 7s Big Rock. (Great truck). I am a fan of Arrma and have loads of em. By far, the 7s Mojave is my favorite.
