Thanks to this vid, I ended up buying the black wheels for my mojave grom red and black version. Ima have to cut the fenders tho since they do rub unfortunately. Keep them vids coming bro. Subbed

Stiffen the shocks or add a wheelie bar so that the wheelie bar wheels hit the ground before the body rubs the tires and you wont have to cut it. My green one i did not cut and it dont rub.

If you don't want to spend as much get a Reedy 280-SL4 motor with a Hobbywing QuicRun-WP-16BL30 esc. That setup will hit 60mph all day on a 3s and stock gearing. Only cost like $70

Is your pinion 1/8 bore and where are you getting them

One is, got it from ebay.. hot racing makes .05mod 1/8bore pinions. The other pinion is a 5mm bore with a 1/8 sleeve inside.. so i can fit 5mm bore pinions on my motor. Fits like a glove.

Hello there, i have a question. I'm running the same setup with a 1010 castle combo, my esc gets hot, noticed it didnt come with a fan. Zip tie a fan on top or? I was wondering if anyone else was having any issues as well. Running a 26 tooth pinion

Which motor are you using? Im running 4400kv with no fans on 26T in AZ heat with no heat issues. Check to make sure your not overloading your esc if your running lights or any thing or running multiple channels on your receiver. I noticed some lights draw more current and esc heats up. Could be your fan too.

@@MrMeDosYea that's what I keep hearing! I have the 5600 kv version. I'm only running the servo and esc off the receiver. Ran about a quarter throttle for about 3 minutes with a few full throttle blips with no fan. I just picked up a random cooling fan from the hobby shop, might just zip tie that bad boy on and check temps after. Thanks for the info and letting me pick your head. I'm still kinda stumped lol

I dont have a HR motor mount.. i have arrma motor mount. Its a pack if different set sizes. Its on horizonhobby site for the grom series. They are cheap. Now my HR spur gear, i got that from my local hobby shop
