When I got my typhon it was the same way and it was a RTR I was so mad had to adjust the whole front end . It's like they just slap.it together and send it out any more !

Yes I was going to say check bell crank and servo saver. I had to set my steering up 3x’s to get it right. I have rpm arms and I shimmed the arms so there is no play. Man, I’m going to check over mine and see if I can figure out your issue.

I had the same issue with my K8 EXB. ALL THAT SLOP In the front upper a arm’s. I also add the camber issues the pillar ball not retainers kept backing out on one side also I switched everything over to the M2c Pillar ball kits. Fixed all the issues except for the slop in the upper a arms

@@earlmoorhead5555 Also one more thing I can’t off the top of my head remember what size motor you used but I used the Hobby Wing 800 KV motor in my K8 EXB and I had to sand the steering rack down a little because of the motor touching it it wouldn’t allow full travel or it would get stuck returning back to center I uploaded a video about it, and sanded mine down. That's the aluminum washers in the hub. Very common after first run, you have to tighten them down, especially when wheel wobbles. Take wheel off like your removing balls and tighten those aluminum washers.

From here your pillow balls look pretty loose. And you might need to put some heat shrink around your turnbuckle ends to get rid of that slop

First tighten the pillow balls. Next take the servo saver off and turn on the car center the steering and install savor correct way with the 2 arrma logos facing each other. Afterwards adjust your tie rods and afterwards shim your hubs.

Had same problem on the exb roller left front wheel toed out from box ! Had to disassemble front end and reassemble with added washers. Still not totally right !! Arrma told me to send back but at the time they couldn't guarantee a replacement? Only refund ! So like you said it is what it is. Quality Control not a major concern at Arrma when demand is great !!:(:(

On my 1/10 scale I use a framing square to center my toe and my camber then you can adjust them to suit you from there. The toe is always the hardest for me to get right for my speed runs. Love your videos bro 👍🍻

As I’m certified in automotive alignment and did them for two year on an alignment rack one thing I’ve learned is with all that slop no measure tool would fix wheels moving around and I wish it had a camber adjustment 👍👍🔥🔥thanks again 🔥

Looks like you have more than usual movement in the upper left arm, id just go through and check that everythings tight in steering first and work to the tires, its an awesome looking truck

@@earlmoorhead5555 im thinking your play has to do with the ackerman plate, may be a bushing missing and it slips on the bolt, id probably pull the steering parts apart and put back together and make sure something wasnt assembled wrong

My v5 kraton 6s has slop like that in the front. Annoys the hell out of me that Arrma charges so much money for these and they have soooo many flaws . My center diff leaks , the slop in the wheels , motor wasn’t tight from factory noticed after a battery or two . Wore the teeth out prematurely because it was lose . Arrma has got to get their stuff together. They charge a lot of money for these things .

i agree that quality control needs to be improved by at LEAST 50%. I also know that when i buy a car 1:1 scale or smaller, i ALWAYS check EVERYTHING. i kick tires, i check fluids, i check diffs(ok maybe i don't do diffs on 1:1 scales, but still) Factories don't always get it right. Part of this hobby should be the upkeep and that starts right out of the box. Keep in mind this is also a roller edition with 3rd party parts added to the build. Earl bought a Tesla CyberTruck without the motors or steering wheel in it and he had to install the "go fast" parts aftermarket.

man i was having a similar issue on the servo/servo saver in the stock RedCast 8S. Both my servo mount and ESC mount were loose. Only one screw was loose. Threads weren't biting and that caused the whole mount to move.

If the pillow ball not tight to the upper arm it will back out that why they added washer to take up the gap I can add washers there but run the risk of pulling out the thread 🤔🤔

@@earlmoorhead5555 mine does that, set it, drive it, and it pulls 1 way or the other, usually right, then come back to myself and the steering is flopped to one side, usually leaving the LF looking cockeyed and it makes it pretty hard for me to drive....my husband even wrecked it, trying to show me you could still drive it like that🤣

What about adding some rubber tubing around the hub/cvd area, where it meets? Maybe it could tighten things up for you some. I noticed ours pulls away a lot there. Washers on the pivot balls to maybe, that has to much slop to set anything now. Idk...just guessing.

I have these issues on my lasernut. I changed out the plastic part that sits on the steering post next to the ESC and some of the issue went away. Still have way to much slop though. I changed links and a lot of parts and just can't figure it out.

Hey Earl. Do you have trouble keeping the wheel nuts on the OUTCAST? No matter how tight I try to put them on, I often find them about to spin off when I check.

Earl, thanks for your reply. My OUTCAST has only been run twice & the the hexes are in good shape. While I am getting on in years, I can’t believe I am not strong enough to put the wheel nuts tight enough, but I will try harder next time I take it out. Would you think a drop of LOCTITE would be ok & might help? Keep up the great videos,

What’s up brother I had the same issue with my outcast. It must be something with the outcast building crew lol. They ran out of 12 year olds so had the 10 yo’s come in that day. 🤪 All jokes aside my kraton and Mojave and limitless were 95 percent good, but my outcast was 50 percent messed up.

Hi pal. I recently built my kraton 1/5 exb...the servo saver needs to be attached at 1 o'clock not at 12 o'clock (striaght up) once you center the steering servo with your remote. Both side of that plate where the screws go threw it has a ton of play that why I thought they were loose but I checked and the screws are tight something wrong there for sure 👍👍
