Arrma Senton 3s and 6s

Today we went out to Howebridge Sports Centre to have a little bash with our Senton. Tony has just got his Senton 3s and wanted to take it out for a first run. What a blast we had 😁
Tony's 3s was far better than what I had expected and if truth be known it was basically just as quick as my 6s. What a beast these 3s Senton's are!!!!

Phenomenal video my friend! Both are impressive Short Course Trucks. The 3s one really rips, but I was expecting that, knowing my solidly 3s Slash, which after all my upgrades can take 3s 100%, is also a ripper. I don't know what your opinion of SCTs is, but they are my cup of tea. Even thinking of selling my Talion and getting me the 6s Senton, which imo is the no.1 SCT (power/bashing). But the Trophy Trucks also caught my interest. Perhaps I'll sell the Slash to get me a Trophy Truck. That Losi Baja Rey seems decent.

@@tiborvon I can tell the same about the Slash. But: unfortunately one has to perform some major changes to get it reliably 3s capable. Too many plastic parts that just don't take it. I wonder if the stock 3s Senton handles 3s well. Should be long enough on the market to make a statement on sturdiness (?). But anyhow, the Slash has this luxury feel to it. So refined. Perhaps this is a Traxxas trait? My Arrma Talion in contrast is raw, mechanicly loud, rough. What are your thaughts when comparing Traxxas and Arrma.

Mmmmmm well my traxxas trx4 is amazing and feels very much like quality compared ro my other crawlers however it was also 2 and 3 times more expensive so i wouldnt expect anything else. The trx4 is brilliant. My xmaxx is also brilliant but it cost 1000 pounds so i would be disappointed if it was no good. As for the Arrma. I have three now. The notorious is fantastic. The senton is much fun and i cant soeak about my typhon because i havnt used it yet. But i cant compare with similar models of traxxas because i have never used them. It would be unfair to make any comment. I like to keep an open mind about things and decide myself from personal experience. So basically my answer to your question is that i dont know lol but usually in life you get what you pay for

I got my 3s and Tel got a Kraton 6s last weekend. My Senton is as fast and all I can see the 6s offers is a more rigid body and stronger shocks. The 3s is a beast. Interesting to see the difference in body angle at speed - I have already made some vents in the back of the BLX but some in the front look a good idea too. May cancel the clear BLX shell on order and swap to the 6s shell also. Good vid gang, ta!

To be fsir dude the 3s was much better than i had expected and as stock its actually not far behind in speed. However, although it looks the same, its very different under the body shell. And the 6s is much heavily especially with 2 batteries in it. I think you should try venting before paying for another shell and maybe just add a little weight to the front. Let me kbow how you get bro

Hello my friend. The 3s and 6s sentons only look the same because the shells are the same. But under the shell they are totally different, everything is different. And they both drive and handle totally different. The 6s is far superior.

Pressons by Jenn Hello, well !!!!!! Basically yes, motor and esc. However, although these 2 sentons look the same, when you take the shell off then they are totally different. The 6s is far stronger and a lot more heavy, thats why they are similar speeds even though one is 3s and one is 6s. You will notice that the 3s pulls wheelies and the 6s doesnt. They tyres on the 6s are much better and stronger than on the 3s. So yes, you can change the motor and esc and try to make space for 2 3s batteries but you will probably encounter other issues. Gears and drice trains might start to break under the extra power etc. I always think that when you start to upgrade a truck/car etc then you create a week spot somewhere that will eventually break, when you then upgrade this week spot you will then be left with another week spot somewhere which will eventually break lol but thats just my opinion. Upgrading and modifying these rc trucks and cars is all part of the fun of the hobby

Finally got my 3s senton, what all do i need in order to upgrade it to 6s?

imserious2187 Although the 3s and 6s senton look like the same rc, under the shell they are totally different. Both these cars as stock are basically the same speed BUT the 6s is much heavier and handles much different. There are no wheelies from the 6s senton. Technically all you need to do is change the electrics and make sure that you can fit 2 3s batteries in there. But i think all that will happen is that you will get loads of breakages. As i say, both cars are built totally different to each other, its not just the esc and motor that is different. The 3s senton is fast enough as stock bro. Have a look online at pictures and specs of both Sentons. Any large model shop online that sells them will probably have several pictures of them showing thier internals

I am not sure what battery was in the green 3s senton, but i run my 6s senton using 2 flureon 3s batteries. Most of my 2s and 3s batteries are made my flureon. They are a good price and i have not had any issues with them.

Great video, again. I know what the Tibster went through to get this done. The ARRMAs are engineered to all be about the same speed out of the box. Mine and Miss Bly's two 4s trucks are an even match as far as speed goes with our 2 6s Kratons. The 6s trucks feel more plush and solid since they are heavier and have anti-sway bars. Now I've got something to say so I'll do another one.

What are you going to do with it? I have Xmaxx and Notorious for jumps and ramps. I have Senton for a bit of off road, and a Tyohon for a bit of speed. I am led to believe that the new Mojave is a good truck to have too

I’ll be just bashing I’m quite new to RC and have a skatepark and dirt jump 5 minutes from my house, what do you recommend? I currently have a cheap ftx carnage and I must admit it’s junk.

We had a right blast Cam bro. 4 hours we were here for lol. Time flew by, litterally lol. Tonys 3s Srnton is a beadt mate. There is very little difference in speed because its lighter. Thesr trucks are pure fun mate
