Yeah those tires really wake the truck up! Lol gear changes can be a pain, especially if your not sure if your gonna always run those tires, 75% sounds like a good idea just keep an eye out for your motor temps, thanks for watching 👍

Arrma Vortek tyres will give the same effect and are nearer the size of the stock wheels and the vortek uses the same gearing as the senton with the same drivetrain so may help with overheating if it happens with these

The Big Rock tires on the Senton also wake the truck up. I had a set lying around and after watching your video I threw them on. I no longer have buyer's remorse 👍

Looks like it runs great with the Granite tyres. I did think about doing this to mine but I think it ends up pretty much like my Big Rock with Granite tyres. Also I have the inner fender set on my Senton and I don't think that they accommodate the bigger tyres. I have stiffened up the suspension on my Senton and drive it more like a rally car. You probably want to go down to the 15t pinion if the motor is getting hot. Anyway, nice demo :-)

Yeah definitely gonna have to gear down the esc gave me a fault the other day and the truck completely stopped working, it got too hot, not to mention it’s a 100 degrees outside, it really is a totally different truck now! I actually like it lol, it back flips off the ramp with ease, before I would have to gun it full throttle on launch and in the air to barely squeeze out a back flip and sometimes I wouldn’t even get a full rotation, now I have to take it easy on the throttle or it will over rotate, glad I did it I’m gonna leave it like that and get some new tires for the granite, thanks for watching 👍

They definitely wake up the Senton, just be aware that you will have to trim the body to make way for the bigger tires and keep an eye on the motor temps, you may have to gear down a tooth or two 🤙

My best senton is my senton typhoon combo 4s set up so I use the setup on the typhoon with senton shell so if you have senton only all you need to do is change it from 14hub and drive shaft to a 17 and then a tire plus don't forget when changing out a set up or tire sizes CHANGE your motor gear size to keep Temps good no one seems tell people

You may want to adjust your gearing for one, front and rear sway bars would definitely help out as well

I have a 4076 motor and castle 6s esc in my senton with a 22 tooth pinion and a 6000 mah battery, and have no heat issues even without a cooling fan, I've got a set of these tires and are waiting for 12mm hex adapters in the mail. Do you think with the new tires my motor is going to heat up quick? It's a 50 60 mph beast it just has no traction on those shifty stock tires

Wow, sounds like you got that thing souped up and ready to rip! Bigger tires could cause motor temp issues, the granite tires are much larger than the stocks, just keep an eye on it, if it does overheat come down one or two teeth on that pinion 👍

*update, the granite tires exploded. it ended up having no heat issues however the diff exploded and i had to end up replacing both due to the fact the diffs were 42t not the updated 37 that i had bought

Yes, definitely gear down if you experience heating issues, go down a tooth or two on the pinion

Well it’s kinda hard to tell since I’m not there to see it but there could be a number of things, are you running bigger tires than stock? Is the servo centered out when you installed it, are your end points set correctly?

@@10krms54 people say that their servos always go out, I own all of the Arrma 3s line and none of them have had a servo go out yet, not to say that it won’t happen because eventually it will, with that being said I have never changed out a servo on a Arrma before, I have changed out some on my Traxxas Rc’s, and the way I do it, is turn off the tsm center out the trim and then mount the servo, tires straight and centered out, there are videos on KZbin on how to set the end points with your radio but that is done after install to insure that your are not over extending the servo, thus causing it to wear out quicker

By default the Senton will bust a wheelie every now and then, not wheelies on command but with the granite tires it wheelies for days, it jumps better on the ramp too 👍

Tried running the tires on my senton 3 s and truck won’t go with the bigger tires on it. Acts like the battery is dead and then stop. Truck runs fine on the stock tires

@@rcreviews9894 haven’t tried it, but it doesn’t run long enough to get hot. Off the ground it’s fine set it down won’t move goes about a foot and acts like the battery died. Stock tires is fine no problems at all

@@ddemai well that’s gotta be it then, the esc can’t handle it, kinda strange, mine ran fine, obviously as you saw in the video, other people have suggested running the Vorteks tires instead because apparently the Senton and Vorteks are geared the same, I would have to look into that to be sure but it sounds legit, I would recommend if you do want to continue running the granite tires, maybe go down a tooth or two, just to be safe

Brother there not granite wheel and tyres they are arrma copperhead 2 wheel and tyres the tread pattern is nothing like the granite and you can see the copperhead print on the side wall
