I got the Slash ultimate 4x4 sometime back. Just ordered the senton 3s BLX. Let's see how it stands up to the ultimate. Gonna make a video comparing them soon. What parameters would you say would be good to compare them on?

Glad you got my favourite RC car! You’ll enjoy it for sure. It’s a better basher than anything else really. The tires last for a little bit. Not the best though. Get some proline badlands or trenchers. They are good. And obviously you know that. This truck doesn't need AVC that much. There are some situations where it does, but it's really easy to control. Just be sure that when you pull the pull tab, pull up just a little, then push it to the forwards. CCxRC makes a great video on how to do this. You can find How-to tutorials on the granite and typhon bc they are the exact same platform.

I was a traxxas fanboy, over the years I realized all companies have garbage and amazing cars. Sometimes it’s just by doing your research, then you buy it and it still stinks. Or you get one cheap and fall in love with it. I like rc’s like real cars, if it’s cool, I like it!

each one of my sentons (i have 3) had at least 1 shock that would leak all the way out. Be careful what you leave it on when storing it.

Get ready for shredded tires. Rear body always snags tires and rips them to shreds. Body trim required.

Really enjoyed our Senton. It would go into Lipo cut after about ten minutes and that sucked.

Like your shirt! I run a sct410 but just bought the Senton for my 9yo for Xmas. I only race(mugen 1/8th, tekno is a beast in SCT), but this thing is fun! and so far indestructible!! Plenty fast on %75 on 2s for him lol

Sorry but traxxas sucks ass as a track car, I don't expect this to be any better on the track...It's a basher for my 9yo. I race ROAR though and race/travel a lot. So take my opinion on skill level. I race against guys with full to %50 paid for rides. The Senton takes a pounding and is a great truck for bashers!

My Senton drives heavier than my Slash. Senton is faster out of the box but the Slash is much more alive when it comes to quick maneuvering. I like both and take both out at the same time to drive.

Be ready to blow those stock tires. We all have. Oh and go in and loctite ur axles on the driveshafts. They don't do it in the factory. There is a video of how to do it if u run into a problem. But u should be able to figure it out. And that servo will die soon. Just a heads up.

Got the wife 1 for xmas 47mph on zee 6500mah 3s. Stock gear mesh on pinion to spur in terrible....by the way its a 100amp esc

It was easy for me, my hobby shop knows I’m a sucker for damaged or cars missing parts. Senton no motor esc 120$ and I grabbed a big rock complete as well last one they had. My traxxas 3s cars are fast. So we will see. I’ve stayed out of the 1/10 game for a few years but I just see bigger cars 1/5, 1/8 and get over exited lol

If you are thinking about picking up a serpent kit you might as well look elsewhere. Parts support for serpent in the us is close to nothing and the cars are around the same price as Team Associated. If you are wanting to get an rtr from serpent than you might as well, they are the only brand that make race ready rtrs nowadays. Just load up on a few parts so you don't have to end a race day early because you broke a part and no one has a replacement.

I have a slash 4x4 vxl 3s blew the tires of it on less than a week. It is totally bad ass, fast, handles good, tuff 100 percent waterproof.

They dont put them in plastic because plastic flexes then goes back but metal bends and stay bent so they but the brace so the metal chassis don't bend but they still do bend
