Thunder the motor plates bend, I just ordered all motor plates Hot racing for all my 3S line. Once it bends, if you don’t catch it in time, you will strip the gears now being way to tight. Happens mostly on long wheel base. keep up THE AMAZING WORK MY FRIEND!!!!!

Yeah man, when I got it in the shop and started taking it apart I was like dang! The same motor plate bend that you had on yours haha🤣🤩🤩🔥I guess it is time for the upgrades lol 💯💯🚀

Yes it looks like the motor mount bent a little bit. From what I hear , that is a common break issue with the truck.

You need the M2C motor mount. No joke. You need to get the HR yokes to, or at least for the rear. That's what we discovered.

Installing upgraded motor mounts on all mine. The long wheel base especially gets bent motor plates. In my experience. I am running 4s.

Thank you brotha! Personally from my experience both trucks are very amazing but the Vorteks is better and I will tell you why. For one it has a shorter wheel base and that makes the motor plate stronger as there is less leverage from the chassis. Also it drives and handles way better than big rock and is more durable.🤩

Nice vid! If you could only afford to buy one 3s, which would you buy; Vorteks, Big Rock or Typhon? For drivability, jumping, off-road (dirt and grass) and general bashing? The RC will be for my 6 year old son’s Birthday, so it’s kind of a big deal on getting him something he’ll handle and not hate the hobby do to more time spent on its roof than the wheels. 😆

Yes I totally understand that. So to answer your question I actually would go with the Arrma Vorteks, mainly due to its driving characteristics. It handles way better than the Big Rock. Plus it is somehow even more durable.
