There are still people who think their notion of god is what created the US. In fact it was the settler colonists, taking the hunting and farming grounds of native people by force, eventually supported by the kings of France and England. Settlers saw a 'new' world, but it was old as time itself, just new to the Europeans, and they felt entitled to take whatever they could take. Their opponent was stone age peoples. The outcome was foregone.

I am a United States naturalized citizen, born in Romania. I came here back in 1996, at the age of 17. I thank God, every day, that He blessed me and gave me this incredible opportunity, through my dad, to come to this amazing country. I was one of the more fortunate ones, meaning that my life in Romania was great as my parents always made sure my sister and I had everything we needed. I can say that if my dad was never assigned to work at the Romanian Embassy in Washington DC, I would probably have lived a pretty comfortable life, in Romania. With that said, I am so blessed that my path brought me to this amazing country where I was blessed to have my 3 beautiful babies and fall in love. I love this country, so much, and I pray every day that this country will continue to remain the great America I heard of before I came to it and later discovered it to be. May God bless America because this is truly the land of the free and I believe this wholeheartedly🙏

When it comes down to it, a lot of people just want attention and want to feel victimized for something and makes them feel special, even when they don't really believe their own trash that comes out of their mouth. It's so ridiculous and I can't believe how people have the nerve to want to debate topics that they have no facts on and never think before they speak, I would be embarrassed. These days everyone thinks that the world owes them something and have the mindset of "I'm right and you're wrong no matter what you say, and if you disagree with my opinion on something that makes you a racist, sexist, homophobic, etc...". You would think that since everyone can use Google, they have the entire universe of information at their fingertips, but they just want to argue and cancel the people who disagree with their views no matter how small the detail. They literally set themselves up for failure and then blame the failure on everyone else, because they think they're perfect and already know more than you and you should bow down to them because they're special and nobody can tell them otherwise. It's so ignorant. Anyone who acts like that just to argue is an ignorant fool. This generation that's coming up now are going to be lunatics when they're adults. I can't imagine what kind of problems they'll have in the future, it will probably be pretty grim. They are already entitled and arrogant, now imagine them as adults. It's a pretty dark future in my opinion. Jesus is coming soon, so maybe we'll all be out of here before we get the chance to experience that way of life and the problems that come with it.

Many of us would not even be here had our ancestors made one tiny decision differently; and, then realize that many of us descend from those who were persecuted/killed in the country from which we originated... No-one who came before them has it figured out, but they do. And when speakers WHO ARE EXPERTS COME TO SHARE THEIR PART they are still unable to take in an opposing argument, even if only to grow through having their philosophy challenged. Don't like the question? Just ignore it and ask another one. Don't like what the speaker says? Speak louder and get more agitated, be rude and interrupt, and even start shouting at people, get exasperated and leave. Well done, a true show of maturity and intellectual might. /s

It is like listening to transactivists who spend most of their time raging against anything and most things in a maniacal manner. PARENTS if you are paying, stop. Get these kids out working for 3 to 5 years so they can grow up some. Get them paying rent and utilities and doing grown up things before you pay for this UTTER Waste of your dollars and tax dollars. I'm a conservative Christian Asian man in my 40's. I have lived in the U.S. since I immigrated right after I was born. I love this country and think it's the best in the world. I have friends who are multi-racial, cultural and all spectrum of sexual orientation. I think I've seen about 10 of these videos and it seems like the speakers are intelligent and have well thought out answers to the audiences questions. This is backed up with logical reasoning and facts. The issue I have here is highlighting students that are emotional and angry. These are young adults who are trying to find themselves and don't quite have their lives figured out. The problem with how D'Souza and other well educated and well spoken conservatives is that they are never successful at delivering a message or answer that help the student understand their point. We already know that the students asking questions are already angry and emotional so how do you deal with someone who is in that state of mind? The word that comes to my mind is make a connection. Build a relationship and trust. As a conservative, you won't change the mind of anyone unless they actually trust you. These forums make the world even more divided. I don't have the answer on how to actually do it but I do know without trust these students will just leave believing people like DSouza or Peterson are evil. How would Martin Luther King communicate with these kids?

Many decades ago my husband was in the Air Force and we were stationed in a country the was predominantly Muslim. Upon entering that country we were briefed on the do's and don'ts of the people. The laws and norms of that country were very different to the United States of America. We did not try to live as though we were back in the USA. We then moved to a European country which had different laws and norms but again we respectfully lived in that country and loved it. But it was a wonderful day when I was back on USA soil. I thank God for the freedoms I have in Him and I'm grateful to be a citizen of the USA.
