Such an awesome theme for such a great but wasted character. They took Deathstroke, made him badass for a few episodes and then turned him into a lovesick puppydog who was obsessing over someone he barely knew. That ruined the otherwise great season 2. Well, that, Rochev in a Ravager outfit and how they portrayed Brother Blood in the end. Brother Blood should have been the main villain, Ivo should have been a bigger threat and Deathstroke should have been more of a secondary threat who wanted Green Arrow dead for more professional reasons.

***** I think they should have made Oliver responsible for something like Joey (Slade's younger's son)'s neck being sliced (which is what rendered him mute and caused Slade's ex-wife to shoot him in the face in the comics). Maybe say that Ivo called in reinforcements who kidnapped Slade's family. Then a confrontation happens on the boat and Waller saves Oliver, Slade and Slade's family, but Slade hates Oliver and becomes a mercenary. Or something, just give him a motive that makes sense.

He's appearing in Arrow's 100th episode in the crossover with Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. And I find the whole "You can't use 2 different versions of the same character in 2 different continuities or else people might get confused and think they're the same version of the same character" thing stupid. The only people who'll be confused by that are people who didn't know that much about the character to start with. Everyone else will know they're 2 different versions of the same character who have nothing whatsoever to do with each other.

The thing with Slade is it wasn't just Shado's death that made him evil. It was a number of things. I think that even though he knew that Ivo had killed Shado he held Oliver just as responsible for saving Sara instead of Shado even though if Oliver could have he'd have saved both of them but Ivo forced him to choose between one or the other. Part of it was also probably Slade's jealousy that Shado loved Oliver and not him. Then there was the Mirakuru driving Slade crazy and causing him to see a hallucination of Shado telling him to do horrible things which made his hatred of Oliver even worse. Then Oliver nearly killed him and took his eye by driving an arrow through it. He probably had some PTSD from the trauma of everything that happened on Lian Yu as well. Slade does say at one point that even when he left the island in his mind he felt like he was still there and couldn't escape it. So IMO he wasn't wasted and he was a lot more than just a "lovesick puppy dog obsessing over someone he barely knew."

Which soundtrack is the scariest to you? Slade's or Vandal's? For me I can't choose. But To be honest i think both are super terrifying. idk anymore. Why the hell can't other DC heroes be in this serie? WHere the fuck is Justice League? Are they not even exist in this time? Would not Superman of all heroes know when evil comes. Or are they also facing threats just like Arrow fight? In Marvel there is a guy name Thanos who can wipe out whole universe with his fingers with a bullshit gauntlet.
