Arrow Feather Splicing

not as bad as it seems. There is another way that I use all the time as well its called a quick splice. Basically instead of gluing the feathers onto the same quill you just chop them into sections and glue them on to the shaft in pieces.

So I've done some of this splicing since watching this video, and it did come out pretty good. Until I glued them onto the shaft. The different sections of feather seemed to want to angle off of the arrow in different directions making an undesirable fletching in my opinion. Not sure what went wrong they looked perfect before I put them on the shaft. It took me so long to do one arrow hahaha I gave it to my 6 year old he loves it

yea you could just cut the sections all the way through the quill and glue them on the arrow in sections instead of gluing them back together on to the quill
