i actually liked the episode to be honest this episode was stronger than The flash episode. I really didn't like season 4 but there is no reason for hating season 5 without giving it a try but that's just my opinion.

Why all the Felicity hate ? She was fun in s1 and s2. The Felicity from s3 and s4 was bad because her evolution of the character was. Either you hate someone from the beginning, or you hate his evolution. But you can't actually hate Felicity, because that would mean you hated her before. People don't like THIS Felicity. But maybe she can go back to fun Felicity. Ollicity works better when they are appart like the first seasons.

You are both correct. It was suppose to be her last mission, but at the hospital she did basically say she had changed her mind and would continue with the team. However even if she thought she was going to be OK and planned to continue on as Black Canary she just had a near death experience and she had seen her sister die living a similar life style so it is reasonable to be thinking about your own mortality and what you would want to happen afterwards if you did die.
