I just love Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards together on Arrow. I think you can tell they enjoy working together, which I think is important. Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak are so much fun. I love both their characters and when they're together? they just get better and better. I'm really excited about seeing where Season 2 leads them and them together (as a team, friends, and more).

It was never that. The showrunners knew what they wanted since the moment they saw Emily and Stephen together. It was a build up of the relationship between Oliver and Felicity.

@@jujumpe7374 no it wasn’t, they had no idea they wanted a relationship between Oliver and felicity. Emily was just a guest star and climbed up to series regular and we the fans “shipped” them. The CW and producers saw their popularity and put them together. I would say the power of shipping and the power of Emily.

@@daninog8355 She was supposed to be in only one episode. They liked her, liked them together and they decided to call Emily back. It happened before the show aired on october 2012. The had already shot 7 or 8 episodes. The fans only confirmed their choice. Even the CEO of CW and Warner wanted her back. Kreisberg said that after seing the dailies of Stephen and Emily together it felt like Emily did something to Stephen because he really liked her. He said that their chemistry was literally insane. He also said that if they had been their friends in a real life they would have asked them, I quote: "Dudes, why aren't you together ?". That was when they decided that Felicity and Oliver would eventually be together. There's a video of Kreisberg saying that on KZbin. There's also an itw of Guggenheim to CBR ( a comicbook readers website) where he said that they never listened to fans, they worked with the onscreen chemistry between actors. He told them that they only listened to the fans about Felicity's codename (I can understand this because it's an anagram of Watchtower, the codename of Chloé on Smallville, she was the IT girl who became Oliver's wife). He said that they had to complete Oliver and Laurel's story in S1 before they could begin Oliver and Felicity's story. So it was the power of Emily and the incredible onscreen chemistry between Stephen and Emily.

Her legs are absolutely divine. Anyway, i love how it flips the lore on its head. The Walking Dead has found success because it keeps fans of the comic also on their toes, leaning in closer to see how it all pans out, by being different to the story presented in the comic. I say keep things different for Arrow as well. I've accepted he's not Green Arrow, he's the vigilante. So as far that goes, i say Olicity FTW! No need to stay with the Laurel/Black Canary thing,

Felicity is gorgeous. Even when wearing glasses you could see how cute she was but in that one episode where she got to wear an evening dress and didn't wear glasses for teh first time you could fully see how beautiful she is. I'd go as far as to say she's more attractive than Laurel.

Dinah Drake is Black Canary in this season, Caity Lotz has been cast to play the part, Laurel will become Black Canary in a later season, its the same in the Comics, Dinah Dake who becomes Dinah Lance at some point. I'm not sure how they'll play that out but Dinah Drake is Black Canary and Laurel will evolve into Black Canary as time goes on, probably season 3/4

Okay lets get one thing straight, Laurel will be Black Canary, it has been confirmed that her sister Sara is just the start of the Black Canary story, look it up if you don't believe me the writers and the President of CW has confirmed it. Also if Laurel is going to be Black Canary then we all know who is ending up together, just like Lois and Clark on Smallville because they are just some things in the comics you cant change.

Christina Rita Everybody has their own opinions, and my opinion is that they do have chemistry, they just didn't really get the chance to show it and they probably don't have the explosive chemistry everyone wants them to have but that doesn't mean they don't have chemistry and to be honest he doesn't have that explosive chemistry with any of the women on this show, but I don't watch for how explosive the chemistry is, I watch because I am a comic book nut and I love Black Canary and I only started watching this because I knew she would be on it and that her and Oliver would end up together and if Laurel is going to be BC, then they will be together and that is all I care about at the end of the day.

There's so much potential for this series. They could do their own type of Justice League in this. Especially, if they get another green light for at least 9 more seasons like Smallville. I loved Smallville, but I'd like to see Arrow do more in depth story lines with other heroes. Which they are doing a great job, I just am so excited this is picking up for another season. I thought there could be nothing to fill the void for my hero shows, now I got Arrow and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Summer Glau will play Emiko, I have absolutely zero doubt in my mind. She will be apart of Stellmoor International which is a front for The Outsiders. Her father will probably be the villain called The Komodo. Why do I know this? Because the current GREEN ARROW comic has suddenly revealed all this new backstory which is just perfectly being created around the time Season 2 starts. So Glau is Emiko, I bet Komodo will be in Season 2 as well.

I believe this Caity Lotz is gonna play Laurels mother Dinah lance, but a younger version in the past. Showing the origin of the Black Canary, and probably later in the present with the mom passing on the mantle to Laurel. But this is just my theory.

Am I the only one who doesn't want Laurel to be Black Canary? I think she wouldn't fit in character and (supposely) Oliver will end up with Black Canary and it is pretty obvious to me that it won't be Laurel. Remind that we're only on the beginning of the 2nd season, and if you watch this kind of series for a long time, you know that the main character ends up with an obvious character introduced (to us) on a 1st season.

I think that the couch is very large and uncomfortable for Emily. She cannot lean back. Stephen, who is much taller is able to be comfortable. I think it is sweet that even though Emily has to be in front of Stephen, that she frequently turns around to include him in the conversation.

I actually think it's the dress and not the couch that the problem. That dress type, although stylish currently, is just uncomfortable to wear. Makes you ramrod straight or afraid of a tear or something. Plus, it's clearly apparent the skirt is short already. No more leaning back after that.
