There is a character in the Firestorm comics named Felicity Smoak, but she is completely unrelated and has nothing in common to the Green Arrow and has never stepped foot in Sterling, Metropolis, Bludhaven, Gotham, or any other major DC city/area. The character Emily plays is 100% unique and of her and the writers' creation. And once again, if she was a bad actress, she wouldn't have so many legions of fans gained exclusively from her acting ability.
