Fire Captain Tracy Metter walks around Ketchikan Fire Department’s ArrowXT™ 100’ Ascendant® Heavy-Duty Aerial Tower. This apparatus is equipped with a 2000 gpm Waterous pump and 300-gallon water tank. The compartments of the mid-mount platform have slide out trays and a built-in toolbox to keep loose tools organized. Since Ketchikan is a popular travel destination, the department decided to replicate a sign from their city and place it on the side of the platform.

We were in Ketchikan July 12th 2022. We stopped by to purchase a Ketchikan Fire Department tee shirt. When we went in one of the fireman helped us with the shirt and I had taken a picture of your engine. While talking with the on duty fireman he mentioned ladder truck and in a small station I missed this truck! We have stopped by every time that we are cruising in Alaska!

I have been salmon fishing out of ketchikan, best fishing charter ever. Amazing area to visit if you ever get the chance. Kinda surprised such a small place can afford such an amazing rig.
