I never find points in the waterways of my area but watch many others who do find ,and your hunt was piece after piece, which from what I've seen, doesn't happen even in the richest areas.Good looking mid-west types.

This hunt was a small stretch of river that I hunt after nearly every rain. There is a major Paleo - Mid-Archaic site just upriver from where it begins, making the very first gravel bed an unusually promising spot. I've found a LOT of older types on the site itself, as well as washed into the first bed, including Clovis, Searcy, Calf Creek, Graham Cave, Jakie Stemmed, Angostura, Dalton, Rice Lobed, etc. The next several gravel beds are also loaded, mostly with artifacts from the high-cut banks. As far as I know, I'm the only one that hunts this stretch of river, and it's delivered some beautiful pieces. Most of the videos I've posted so far are from this stretch of river. It's THAT good, and only a couple of hundred yards long. I went there about a week ago, but it's overgrown due to the water being so low all year. We need a MASSIVE flood to get it back to where it needs to be. Thanks for the comment, and good luck on your next hunt.
