First off, Thank y’all so much for supporting my channel! I hope you like the direction the channel is going as opposed to my earlier videos. I looked at the video and paused it to check. Really hard to tell on the video. Sometimes a lot of different rocks and flint can resemble artifacts, especially on film. I hope I didn’t miss something anyway. Only reassurance I can give is, it’s much more clear in person and I thoroughly check the screen every time. If it was something, I’ll be sifting there again in the future, so we’ll be sure to get it. Feel free to comment anytime on a video, likes dislikes ect. Trying to make the best adventure channel I can for everyone.❤️👍

Cleggs thanks so much for the time you take for the viewer! Are you ever going to do a video specifically on how you locate the stone veins in the bank? I know you touch on it alot but was wondering if your ever going to do something like that alone.
@cleggsadventures4 жыл бұрын
Ripptyde Vibes I can’t locate where the stone is coming from the bank, I can only locate deeper pockets of it under the mud and sand. Unfortunately there’s no easy way to do this except doing sample screens down the beach. It’s the luck of the draw. It takes a while for me to find a great spot like that but then it may be the first place ya check. Thank you so much for supporting my channel, much appreciated 👍

@@cleggsadventures I hear ya. I never really got hardcore into yet even though I do have hundreds of hours by now. I recently stopped looking for points and instead look for flake locations before I start to look closer. Im in east PA I got my inboard jetski boat completed and now have one good spot with fire rock and flakes and plan on returning to it with a sifter in waders in the coming weeks. Luckily its a bank wall and the beach is sand to mud so it should be a great warm up spot where ill at least be finding debutage.

@cleggsadventures4 жыл бұрын
Donald Ross Not the exact spot I was in but just to the left, a lot of concrete rubbish was thrown over to keep the bank from eroding. The gravel was mixed with that. But, yea they get trapped behind that stuff. I’ll probably do a video on that soon. I know a good spot. Thank you for watching 👍

Careful with this, legal to collect in most states but digging on public land is illegal, could be a felony. Private property you can dig if there are no burials. Check your local laws to be on the safe side.

I also heard, as long as you’re in the water you can sift anywhere, but if you’re doing on the beach, better ask permission. I know a lot of artifacts hunters on here say, that in some states the laws are pretty strict. One guy said, where he lives, you can’t even pick one up off the surface if ya see one. Makes no sense to me, why not let folk preserve the history instead of letting the artifacts be washed away forever. But you also have the idiots that ruin it for everyone, digging in burial sites and in national parks. Then everyone pays the price of strict laws.
