Hi and welcome back! Today I made for you my version of a Puerto Rican Christmas dessert, arroz con dulce or sweet rice pudding.
Here are the ingredients:
1 cup of medium grain rice, soaked in water for 2 hours.
1 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
Pinch of salt
1 12 oz can of evaporated milk
1 15.5 oz coconut milk
1/2 cup of raisins
1 1/2 cups of "tea"
For the "tea"
2 cups water
10 cloves
5 cinnamon sticks
3 2 inch pieces of fresh ginger
4 star anise
Cinnamon for decorating
