Girl!!!! I made this recipe with the giant rice pot because I doubled the recipe knowing that I would want to be a glutton and used boneless chicken thigh pieces(for my husband and toddler) as well as the bone in leg and thighs (for me)!!! @@supanami2241 been pescatarian for 4 years for fitness and overall health reasons. I workout regularly and maintain a lean physique and 6 pack abs. Fish is easier to digest and agrees with my body. It’s also great for your skin tone and complexion. Best choice I’ve made.

I love that you do it this way. Toasting it was the only way I was able to learn to make it right. My grama tried to teach me boiling the water then adding the rice way but I always messed it up. Had to find my own way. Can't wait to try your recipe, especially with the new and improved sofrito. Thank you for your channel as a Dominican who loves food is hard to find videos like this

So I came across your video after my failed attempt at Spanish chicken pot rice. Made your version tonight, and GIRLLL. Omg. Let me call you Sis. Because this came out AMAZING!! I used bone in chicken thighs for this recipe with the skin on. The rice was perfect with the crispy bits on the bottom. Everything full of flavor in every bite. Even my picky boyfriend loved this. ok, I'm Peruvian and we have a very different style of "arroz con Pollo", our rice is green and super delicious and we even use dark beer for its preparation, Peruvian Chile. I liked the video!.

This is one of my all time favorite dishes, I’ve tried so many recipes from KZbin but I’ve never made yours,I just made arroz con pollo last night but I just made my own recipe using different ideas from other recipes yours is next on my list as it looks so good , I’m not a professional chef but I do cook a lot and I can usually tell from a recipe if I’ll like it or not

The cubes don't contain MSG (at least the ones that I use) however you can substitute with regular kosher salt (I do this all of the time) or you can use a low sodium chicken stock that comes from free range chickens.

You can definitely do it in a caldero. I made it that way in my original Locrio de Pollo video. This time, I wanted a more fried rice/paella feel to my Arroz con Pollo so I used a more shallow dish to get a little bit more con con 😋 but you 100% can use a caldero

Hello Pretty Lady, I made it this recipe this evening exactly like yours I didn’t change a thing and I usually do to all recipes. For one, I always add picante in every main dish with meat. 😊 Your recipe was so delicious I think the lemon adds that extra something. My palette was stimulated and bursting with flavors.
