@@josephlargen8252 quite possibly because their protector Taggy is gone now. it was only because of him that lubby and wibby's family can go between Annie's and Bossy's. i do hope that the kids (rena & cora and all the boys will be ok).

It must be a trip for the previous year's babies during mating season. They're given so much free reign to just roam about and play while the moms are away, it's probably a bit overwhelming for them which is why some moms like Wibby stay back. I've noticed that this is usually the time when the older sisters are trusted the most with babysitting, they make sure the babies don't go too far out. In this case, we see Big Brother Al taking up that role.

How can you tell the monkeys apart? I love these videos. I don't understand why people want to watch the videos where monkeys are being made to wear diapers and clothes and being mistreated when they can watch this.

She shouldn’t be ousted. Typically they can live 5-10 more years after they go through menopause but you will see one or more of her daughters taking more of an active role in bossing the troop.

Why do people feed monkeys that have food

Because there are not enough food. These monkeys had ancestors moved to monkey hill after the dam was finished in 1938. The humans had some trouble with poisonous plants in the area, plants that rhesus macaques eat. In the forest it should be a lot of fruit and berries for them but it isn't. The government said they planted a lot of fruit and berry trees for the macaques but I guess most of them didn't survive if it's true. 🤓🇸🇪

@@ML_SE If I remember correctly, there is continued efforts to plant trees with food that is made for their diet, so hopefully with enough time it will no longer be an issue.

Quick question, I knew that Lubby left Annie's troop for Bossy's troop, but did she not take all of her clan with her? From this video it looks like Cora is stuck in Annie's troop with her older siblings. Or did Lubby go back to Annie's troop and that's why her rank dropped so hard?

Also, that’s still a! Infant macaque. It’s under a year and has every right to eat if its moms says so.

They may breastfeed up to 2 years. It depends on if mom has another baby. They may skip a year and in that case, the baby will nurse longer. I believe most babies are weaned between 9 - 12 months. If your question was about the mom sucking hercown teat, they do this to get milk flowing, or to clear a milk duct.
