You gotta give the Cindershot another try. It's more like the reach Nade Launcher than a rocket launcher. Gotta bounce those shots before it explodes, or go for a direct hit. With some practice it's extremely deadly. You can literally chase people around corners with alt fire.

I agree with most of the list, but I would move the AR and sidekick up to A rank and the bulldog down to B. I feel the opposite on the bulldog and heatwave.

Here’s my tier list.S,sword,rockets,sniper.A,br,hammer,cinder,heatwave,bulldog,skewer.B,mangler,shock,stalker,sidekick,sentinel,needler,disrupter,plasma pistol.C,assault,hydra.D,carbine,commando.F,ravager. This tier list was about the desirability of the weapons,not just the damage.

Skewer should be S. it’s a one shot kill. Only drawback is reload time. Plasma pistol can be devastating in the right hands and is too low. Needler is probably the easiest guaranteed kill for anyone who doesn’t know how to aim if you know it’s optimal range. It should be in b tier. The sentinel beam should be moved down a tier or even two because it is the worst at its optimal range and terrible outside of it (though maybe I just suck with it). Energy sword and gravity hammer should be one tier away from one another as they fulfill the same purpose with the same result 90% of the time. I’d probably move the sword down to A tier but depending on who you ask moving the hammer up to A is definitely debatable. If enemies are stacked it can be better than the sword though that happens rarely. Either one in combination with the grapple shot is S. Disruptor pulls down shields fast but it’s major advantage is that it leaves the shields down for an extended period of time after they have been stripped making it an effective weapon for team play. Though C or D is an acceptable tier imo. battle rifle is not an s tier weapon. You would drop it in a heartbeat for anything else in the S tier. Sorry if I’m being harsh but You put the skewer in the same tier as the commando and the sentinel beam

The ravager is best used like a plasma pistol in my experience but with extra area of denial. When I use it like that I get much more sucess

I found one use for it it’s against lite vehicles such as ghost it deals decent damage to the Vehicle But the real strength is that if you hit anywhere on the vehicle, it pretty much always damages the driver

Dude… the disruptor is absolutely cracked, if u just hold fire and hit your shots it has a faster kill time than the sidekick. Like it kills so freakin fast if u hit your shots, but tbf that’s only at close range in ranked not against the AR. But against the BR in ranked it shreds so fast and with close range it’s easy to get the last kill headshot

I don't know about you, but I can't use properly the shock rifle. It's a sniper, but if you the head, it may not kill. So, what does it do? How can I use it?

you have to make sure you track their head the whole "burst". Gets some getting used to

It’s like a halo 3 burst if that burst was lightspeed( try to shoot their head when they are standing still or barely moving, if they are moving good luck tracking the 3 shot burst. But seriously if they are moving I find that moving the crosshairs a little more ahead of them works) for ex if an enemy is sprinting to the left aim a little bit forward to the left and track their head

It’s very good tho. Best advice starting out I can give is don’t try to headshot ppl with who are streaming across screen/lane. If they are facing you and challenging you tho then they are in trouble 😈

Somewhat agree with the tier. I believe the worst weapon hands down is still the plasma pistol, followed by the ravager. With the ravager you can shoot and, if you're close (which is not intended for the weapon), melee for a kill. Still, I miss the beta ravager. The Cindershot is lovely but I agree that for some reasons it feels less usable than other weapons, probably due to the unpredictable bounce. From 343 I would like to see a buff or proper balance for the ravager, plasma pistol, plasma rifle and I guess the commando. I love the disruptor, but it feels like it can't be used as a utility weapon in many circumstances. Anyway my favorite weapons are definitely the sidekick, the AR and the mangler. I love how the manger works, I wouldn't nerf it at all.

@@shellfall8526 I’ve never faced this situation, I’ll make sure to give it a try if I find someone using an overshield. Still, I wouldn’t use it in any case, not even by charging the pistol, because the enemy can easily strafe and avoid it while I spent a second of my attack to charge it. I admit I don’t care if it’s weak, what it matters to me is if it has a purpose and is reliable in its role. The disruption is overall a weak weapon but can be using against multiple enemies nearby or to deactivate vehicles.

I have to disagree about the plasma pistol. While not even close to my fav secondary, it a very good secondary. And it being a counter to overshield gives it a lot of value in competitive play. I’d very confidently put it in the B tier

Plasma pistol is dog water rn, like it's abismal, I like the ravager I think it could be D tier cause it's aoe is at least useful unlike the plasma pistols non-existent tracking. Also The Pulse Carbine is one above the Plasma pistol wherever you place that, it has much better damage, tracking, range, it beats it out in almost every situation except maybe extreme cqb. One more thing, I hate the Shock rifle XD I cannot use it for shit but that's a much more personal take.

Here is my opinion on the weapons I hate the battle rifle for the reason it gives a glare every time u zoom into basically it gives away your position hate the commando because it take a full clip to kill own person fully shielded it was heavily nerfed waaay more then It should have been but love the assault rifle the pistol and bulldog love the Magnler bow hydra is too slow both on reload and fire rate the hammer is too slow on it melee when it’s not a charged hit those are my probs with weapons

But it's not a magnum replacement. It actually works fine for its place in the sandbox as something fast to swap to in order to finish a weakened enemy, and it has 2 other niches in that it can melee slightly faster than with a rifle, and it can kill faster than even the BR, but you have to land all your shots. Because it has a lower RRR and bloom, it has limited effectiveness at range when compared to a BR. That's good because otherwise it would start to outclass other weapons in their respective roles. I do hope we see the H5 magnum make a return as the starting weapon in ranked for at least a season in the future. Semi auto weapons inherently take more skill to use than a burst weapon like the BR and I'd like to see how it plays in Infinite. Without thrust being a default ability idk what tweaks it might need to keep it balanced though.

You don’t even have to perfect with it for it to have a better TTK than the BR. It’s very good, but I agree that the last headshot to kill can be difficult at times with the aim assist loss on unshielded enemies

Are you using the AR for its intended role in the sandbox as a shield shredder and then following that up with a single headshot by swapping to a BR or sidekick? Are you burst firing the AR or holding it down and just waiting for your kill to come to you? Are you comparing a body shot-only AR to a perfect TTK from the Sidekick? It sounds like what you are saying is that's not how YOU want it to be because you don't want to play Infinite for the game it is and learn to use the sandbox because of how something was in a past Halo better suits your idea of how things should be useless if they are just the side arm. If the sidekick was nerfed, BR's would become EVEN MORE of a power weapon in Quick play than they already are. It gives players a fighting chance at pop shotting a player with the BR off in the distance, otherwise it would turn into a game of whoever controls the BR wins the matches. That is not healthy sandbox balancing. The Sidekick has 1 advantage over the AR, and that's range. But it has a low RRR and RNG bloom, so that's the tradeoff of it being able to land shots from a distance. You can also strafe a sidekick infinitely easier than an AR in order to make the sidekick miss, punishing them pretty harshly with its low clip size. The AR absolutely shreds within its effective range. If you don't think so, take the advice from all the casuals to the Halo pro's in regards to the Mangler controversy and adapt and get good at the game.

You are wrong about the plasma pistol emp, they fixed that a long time ago. Cindershot deserves A tier. Stop comparing it to the rpg. That has no bearing on how it compares to all weapons it is extremely powerful. The gravity hammer completely counters the energy sword as well so it deserves A tier as well not even mentioning the fact it could kill a whole team in one swing. Just go watch single halo clips. Unquestionably should be S tier with that factored in. Lot of really bad opinions in here and you should look at others content before making your own because you did very little research and had poor structure to each reasoning. Time to kill is the most important stat, second is how it does the damage/how consistent, third is how it fills a niche in the game.
