Oooh, love the concept of the brushes having a cap so they won't get damaged loose in a bag! Might have to get some of these...That's my number one complaint about traveling with my brushes is being worried about ruining them. That background looks so great and does bring the whole thing together. Amazing! Really helpful to see your process painting the horse.

This looks really good! The pans look like fun too, although I also would be scared to leave them open in case they dry out like jellies do 🥺

great looking horse and knight 😀 I've seen them, and they do look better than the jelly gouache, I'm not wasting anymore money on gouache lol

Yeah I'm always only ever going to buy good old classic gouache haha. Holbein or Winsor & Newton are the only ones I spend money on!

This is so cool !! Im really new to gouache and have been trying to learn for a few weeks. Can you make a video where you do a simple color study since Im still trying to get a good feel as to how I should use them :D,

I enjoyed this video! My question is, what is the difference between regular Gauche , jellies, acryllic?

Gouache has only gum arabic as a binder, which is water soluble and can be reactivated from a dry from (like watercolour - gouache is watercolour with a mattifying ingredient and more pigment load, essentially). Acrylic has plastic polymers as a binder, and so does acryla-gouache (that's just matte acrylic). In theory the jellies have gum arabic for a binder, but because they're made to stay wet (like acrylics), I suspect there is some amount of polymer in there too but I can't say for certain!
