Kingsk01 Beethovens piano pieces are undeniably amazing, incomparable to most and as revolutionary as they are grand. They do not compare however to Chopins. While Beethoven was his own kind, unlike Bach and Mozart, Chopin primarily composed most of his pieces for himself. He took the piano to levels unheard of at the time and never replicated since. The incredibly raw emotion most composers would never display, the beyond virtuouso talent, the depth, the dynamics, the everything. His soul bled from the piano in ways no one will ever be able to match.

@ArRubMusic as a pianist myself -- i think that the way to describe and remember Rubinstein and Chopin is: "chopin players come and go -- Rubinstein Remains".

You are naive to think that polish people understand Chopin’s music more. After all, the sounds are just converted emotions. All humans have emotions. If you have emotions and are musical you can understand Chopin

True. Rubi is a great artist not a historian or philosopher.
