How are athletes that are being screened supposed to take what's given to them as reassurance...when morosini also had that same reassurance but had a cardiac arrest?

Also an expert/specialist can be wrong. It sucks, but that's just how it is. Also, in the case of ARVC it is still a pretty recently discovered disease (+/-40 years), meaning we still have a lot of things to learn about it. In Morosini's case I believe it primarily affected the left ventricle. And his death happened back in 2012, so probably before it was well understood that one has to look just as thoroughly for the condition in the left ventricle as in the right one. I believe Prof. Corrado touches on this in his lecture here. We know that now, however, so a clean screening today should probably be more of a reassurance than it was 10 years ago. But it is probably less of a reassurance than it will be in another 10 years.
