@@bdubz2402 You're not taking into account the quality of chances. In games where we have 10+ shots a decent chunk of them end up being from outside the box or awkward angles, making them easier to save/block. Our issue, especially since Saliba has been out of the team is the number of "big chances" we give up per game. You look at the goals we've conceded in recent months and a whole lot of them have been someone in acres of space in a good area in our box, that shouldn't be happening and that's an issue of bad defending, not goalkeeping. That said, Ramsdale does have the odd stinker. But he's a young keeper and he saves us more than he lets us down (I mean even by the stats he's kept out more than he "should've" conceded by xG across the season). Also, he's in the team for his passing, if we wanted a shot stopper that isn't as comfortable with his feet we would've kept Leno.

Saka has not performed since around the Liverpool draw. Perhaps the main reason he has kept his place is because of his contract situation. At the moment I don’t believe he is worth the salary increase that is being reported, and I even include his great form earlier in the season. I just worry about what happened to the last two players ( Ozil and Auba) that we gave mega bucks to and how their form nose dived.

If you lose 0-2 at home the keeper deserves at max a 3. With 0-3 he deserves a 1 just for showing up to the game. Every single player is at fault for this loss. But the keeper's most important task is keeping the opposite team from scoring. If a shot hits the post and bounces out and he stops another shot in the game he gets applauded for a good performance even if half of it was luck. No excuses. If the ball ends in the net the keeper has failed. He could have been in better position. He could have reacted faster. He could have prepared better. There are a lot of variables but no excuses. I machine part components for industries that require the utmost precision: Lockheed Martin, NASA, Colt Firearms, General Dynamics etc. I manufacture thousands per week and am responsible for mono coating them as well. I have to check 10% of each job I finish. 100 parts? I check 10. But it still goes to quality. If they find something wrong and have to scrap the order I still claim it on my end even if it makes it to their department. My point being you can blame the defenders all you want but you are the last line. The entire reason you get to stand in front of the goal ALL game just to keep balls from going in there. The defense is there to help you. You defend as a group. But the goal is the goalkeepers biggest responsibility. Defender can think "I narrow his shot and the keeper can stop it." Keeper cannot think "Defender will keep it out if I dive the wrong way" As for attacking. Laughable. I think we got 2 shots on goal. We could have played the rest of the night and not scored a goal. Laughably timid.

Disappointing end to a positive season. For me this is a big learning curb for everyone at Arsenal and next season we have to get it right. Champions League is a standard requirement from now on. Arteta needs to be a hell of a lot more smarter and change it up big time as its way too predictable and can't rely on hopi g Saka can come good as he's been shocking for last 6-7 weeks. Ref and VAR get a 0 (zero). I checked the footage of the first goal, which completely turned the tide. It was a CLEAR foul on Kiwior. Ferguson stepped on his ankle depriving him of mobility + his boot. I don't care if it's unintentional. It's a textbook foul. Picture Livarpool or Man U in the same situation... that was an honestly shocking decision, and what is even more shocking to me is that fans are not pointing it out more and are actually blaming Kiwior.

There is a reason why this is the first and only time this season fans began to leave the stadium 0 - 2 down at home and it wasn't because we lost, it was simply because Arsenal as a team have not learnt from past mistakes. Last season, we faultered at the end of the season when it mattered the most. We were in a position with similar odds to get top 4 and we went on a string of losses to teams we ought to have beaten. So yeah, we love the progress made that brought us thus far, but it's absolutely gutting to experience the same disappointment twice with no hopes that we won't experience such next season. 2. Remember the Bournemouth game at home. We were losing 2 - 0 to f**king Bournemouth at home and let's be honest, in that game we were poor defensively but no one left the stadium even after conceding the 2nd goal from a corner kick yet again (we are woeful defending set pieces). Why? Because the players and the style of play looked like it could get us a result. Most of us settled for a draw but R.Nelson did his thing and boom we won. In this game the players and the style of play offered the fans nothing to hold on to. Except Ramsdale, Reiss and Saka, I'll give everyone a 3. White and Trossard get a 1.

I think after the city result we got screwed mentally. Nobody tried. I felt the same way. If city drew or esp lost we would have beat brighton 5-2 or something. Today was all mental nobody smacked us 3-0 all season let alone at home! Only team we lost to at home was city and as bad as we played city last time this was worse

Xhaka and Odegaard were terrible - loose touches, wayward passes, no communication... this team owe us 6 goals and a clean sheet in the next game. Ramsdale had a birthday to forget with this one.
