They are just embarrassed. If this were Wenger they'd be lining up to do the ratings and have a go. Instead they've got rid of managers and results arguably getting worse. Wenger had to go, but Emery and Arteta haven't been outstanding. No one wants to blame Arteta because he's new, but really he made the decision to not play Martinelli first or not sub him on earlier. If it were Wenger or Emery would be ranting about it, it's an inexcusable decision. Lacazette has been bad for ages, Martinelli POTM. This is such an embarrassing defeat, and as bad as the players were, Arteta could have stopped it with a few decent subs/better starting XI.

You guys need to stop blaming Ceballos, Ozil and Xhaka. Your favourites Laca, Aubameyang and Pepe have worst off the ball movement. It's not at all possible to feed a striker if they don't make runs. Also your fullbacks rarely make overlapping runs. How in the world do you expect to break down a team that is defending deep without movement. Not even Cities midfield can create for such static forwards. Aubameyang Laca and Pepe can learn something from Martinelli. So many time’s I saw Saka in about 2 acres of space spread on the touch line and nobody had the creativity to find him. Every ball to Saka was just Xhaka playing it to feet. Not one time did anyone try to send a ball over the top to Saka where he can attack the full back (That’s all we’ve been doing the past few games?!): didn’t understand the tactics at all. Went back to just playing the ball on the floor 100% of the time, won’t work against a team sitting deep. Was obvious from the start.

Pepe was DREADFUL! Overcomplicated, lost possession countless times, so predictable, didn’t work hard enough in defence and looked like bambi on ice every time he had the ball at his feet. Watching from home, the thing I noticed was that nobody was movning, nobody was moving in between the midfield and defense lines, Ozil was always at a wing back position looking for the ball, Laca was motionless, Pepe made the wrong choice every time, nobody wanted to make the pass to saka when he was in space, we slowly slide from one side to the other bringing the entire Olypiacos team over then pass it to his feet now he has 2 men ready to deal with him, the fans need to do more than turn up to get ratings I only heard the away fans..... I can't say much positive about anyone apart from Mustafi...... somehow.

Pepe was a great threat who was our only attacking threat and he gets the same score as saka who had no great defensive or attacking contributions

I understand about the game management but, wasn't, technically, the corner dealt with? It was the cross that scored and not the corner. If Laca had score that easy chance, then we more likely wouldn't be in this position. 🤷‍♂️. Whose really to blame.???

4/10 for Arteta, even though he is taking us forward gradually but he really showed his inexperience today. When you constantly play two games a week, your players will be tired physically (Bellerin, Mustafi, Luiz, Xhaka, Ozil) and Mentally (Leno). He should got quality replacements starting like AMN, Torreira, Martinelli and Mari. Knowing when rotate your squad comes with experience so I hope he has learn't, also he keeps on delaying his subs which cost us against Sheffield United too. 100% behind him but he must learn this crucial lessions! COYG there's still silverware to win this season!

I knew we were in trouble when the early Pepe breakaway didn’t result in a PK or red card. That was an incredible professional foul by their defender. But I disagree Robbie I don’t think we were much better in Greece than today. Both games could have went either way despite our possession advantage. We lacked a cutting edge both games. I thought we’d be better without Guendouzi this game but we looked like guendozui was on the field this game too.

Leno Gets a 2, Has been solid all season but he cost us champions league football today. Mustafi by far our best player, except from their first goal was superb and SAVED us at the end. Özil put in a shift, deserves a higher rating. Overall feels like a knife to the heart. Fans DO NOT get above a 5 today. for 100 minutes we got bullied by the olympiakos fans. We were not the 12th man today and flopped as much as the players.

This is such a bad feeling losing this game in this manner, I really do understand when people say football can be cruel, I admit that we were not at out best. But I don't agree with you Robbie, overall we didn't deserve to lose that game, we did almost enough to win, two mins away from victory but, Lapses of concentration at crucial moments .defensively Costs us every single time!! we need to focus, up to the last minute and even beyond. I disagree with you on the fans rating Robbie. I give our fans a 3/10. From watching the game on TV all I could hear was the Olympiacos away fans, the noise and cheers they made by far overshadowed that of our fans!

First, I think the selection is wrong, I would have starts Torerria (maybe), Nketia and Martinelli putting Pepe on the bench and Lacazette (respect to them). The reason is that we need to start strong, am sure Torerria would have helped reduce pressure on Bellerin and Mustafi and Martinelli would have trackback as well. However, when they did not start I expect that Martinelli will come in for Pepe to provide more dynamics to our game, protection to Bellerin and pressure to the Olympiacos' defense causing Aubameyang to run and Laca to distract with Ozil making the killer pass. Second, I must also state that there was 2 penalties in the game, I just want to hope the referee did not help fix the game. Mustafi had a great game yesterday doing both defensive work and midfield job at the same time also blocking so many crucial shots on goal.
