Most crucial part is Mikel learned not to start Jesus/Sterling in a PL match ever again.
@jasonlemrise6 сағат бұрын
They both look completely lost out there. Selling Jesus is essential next summer.
@thierryhenry6746 сағат бұрын
Jesus was a world class dribbler before the World Cup. Now his dribbling is good but not at the level he once was. But Arsenal lack dribbling in the team. Having a good dribbler is still beneficial. We need more players similar to prime Jesus.
@s.m.g39926 сағат бұрын
Agreed, Sterling did nothing and can’t recall hearing Jesus’ name spoken once. First half with Martinelli, Odegard, and Timber would easily have been three goals. Calafiori is a BEAST!! Going to be a great season. COYG!

@@thierryhenry674all Brazilians are like that bra. Don’t be surprised remember Dinho, Neymar and some others which I know them but can’t remember names now. What’s his name the player for Manchester United with dribbles, young Martinelli was like them but Arteta fixed him by having him 1 2 move and shoot or finish. Like today goal, many Brazilian would stop wait for defenders and possibly get blocked, but Martinelli straight up finished. Another example is Vinicius Jr first seasons and now. Watch the1 2 season of city new Brazilian kid the winger. Jesus used to be mystery dribbler now barely can move. Soccer is just entertainment when it’s 1 2 pass

They will say he stat padded against Southampton but no one will say palmer stat padded vs Brighton or any other mid table team
@Rooler6944 сағат бұрын
The biggest difference is chelsea play counter attack vs everyone meanwhile arsenal have more of the ball. Both are good players tbh but I think personally palmer is more technical than saka but saka works his arse off similar to C Ronaldo work ethic crazy if you think about it.

@darthwiizius2 сағат бұрын
@@Rooler694 I'm not sure about that mate, don't get me wrong I rate Palmer. IMO he should be first name on the team sheet for the no10 position for England. No debate, Foden's not in the same league and Jude's a number 8. Saka delivers goals multiple ways, scores with both feet, has a wand of a left foot and is on current form the best wide right player in the World right now. Watch every team Saka plays against, every single team double marks Saka which means every manager he plays against identifies him as our biggest attacking threat to them. Domestic, European and international, he is always double marked including when either Foden or Palmer are on the pitch with him.

Tbh Sterling wasn’t even bad he’s getting up to speed.Its G.jesus that was the major disappointment in the game
@yuxz82733 сағат бұрын
i agree he gave jesus that one chance at the beggining of the second half. also jesus box presence was non existent which i felt like all the crosses and touches in the box from saka and sterling in the first half felt over the top or useless because they couldnt find no one, noticed how it was the partey cutback the only shot on target? it was a 433 with havertz as a right midfielder and when trossard came in they went back to that 442 that gave trouble to the soton defense, and that made things more dangerous
@namelesscartel44 минут бұрын
@@yuxz8273 agreed I think the main issue with Jesus is that he doesn’t stay in the striker position enough. He could have been an Aguero type of forward but he doesn’t press effectively enough and drops in to midfield so that he can get on the ball because he wants to be part of the game. And then there’s the lack of football he’s had in the last few years so he tends to want to overdo everything instead of making the smart decision.

In reality, Arsenal actually played better- more possession, more touches in the opposition's box, more shots on goal, more incisive passes until the last touch or shot, etc.- in the 1st half than the 2nd, and yet, because they were more clinical in the 2nd and scored 3 goals (the single most important stat for fans who only analyze who who won or lost a game), everyone is going to have the same boring narrative of how Arsenal sucked in the 1st but were brilliant in the 2nd. Analyzing games based on the scoreline has become so predictable and boring!

Arsenal had the most late equalisers and late wins amongst all the PL clubs for the last 2 seasons. So yes, they always have good mentality. But the problem is, why do we have to rely on our mentality? Because we lack skills and ability. If you are winning 5-0, you don’t even need to show your mentality. I am fed up watching us keep failing to create good chances. Arsenal struggled to breakdown the low block. The goals were scored when the game was opened up. We need more skill moves and tiki taka passes in the team. The team lack magic.

We lack skills and ability? That’s just completely untrue. We are unbeaten this season and look so confident. Why do people like you always have to try and find a negative?
@thierryhenry6745 сағат бұрын
Rice contributed nothing in the attack. Him and Havertz occupied spaces that “iniesta” would occupy (because Jorginho, Partey and Calafiori plays deeper). But they can’t play dangerous passes or do skill moves like Iniesta in tight spaces to create magic. Havertz, other than winning us some possession from long ball, and press, he did nothing good on the ball other than the goal. It’s all simple pass to Saka. Never make dangerous pass, no through pass, no tiki taka combination play. His mindset is too direct and not possession based enough, and he lacks dribbling magic on the ball. He can’t do anything on the ball when the opponent players are in front of him. Playing Rice and Havertz in the 8 is like playing John Terry and Tammy Abraham in the midfield. Zero creativity. Partey is not as skillful as Timber. His touches are heavy.

@@thierryhenry674 amazes me to hear absolute nonsense like this from people claiming to be Arsenal fans. Havertz was involved in almost every goal today. Liverpool's toughest PL match this season was against Forest and they fucking lost. Arsenal have already played City, Spurs, and Villa away in the league and are one point off Liverpool, despite having a man sent off in the two matches they dropped points in.
