Saka and Havertz legit saved us. Saka has hit a whole new level this season, imo. Essentially getting back at his critics with all that nonsensical foden comparisons. He will deffo hit 40 g/a this season. I also have havertz to score 20 pl goals. Shout out to martinelli, he has been good past couple of games.

You mentioned that Arteta may have got his starting line-up wrong but I feel like it was more about rotation. I'm happy that Jesus and Sterling got to start and hopefully, the more they get chances, the better they will get. They were pretty poor today but have minutes under their belt. Clearly, they looked much better when Martinelli and Trossard and I think that's because they're currently the number one choices.

We started practically the B team and didn’t capitalise on chances within the first 10 mins ... and let Soton grow in confidence. Sterling and Jesus are in decline and should no longer play for Arsenal, well, backup at best; especially when we need to move Havertz to MF to accommodate Jesus... double jeopardy and self inflicted Pace is king in the PL and atm Trossard and Martinelli are way better options. Arteta impacted too many positions in one go and backfired. Fortunately Havertz got pissed and shot in anger 😠 lol Should not have a Jorginho, Havertz and Rice MF ... clunky n lacking creativity. Rather have Nwaneri in for Jorginho... more flair and importantly have a burst of pace. Merino still looks rusty and coming to terns with PL pace. Probably need another half dozen games to acclimatise ...

Have been a bit unfortunate tbf, look at the xg for Leicester and Southampton in those games, it's like 1 xg combined, unfortunately Leicester scored a deflection and a worldie and Southampton get a deflection today (off salibas foot straight into the bottom corner), meanwhile I see adama traore missing pretty much 3 one on ones against city today and eze missing a couple of sitters against Liverpool
