When Arteta was hired, my biggest concern was that he hadn’t managed grown men, so he’d naturally go for young players he could mold. Turns out that he has no insecurities. He’s brought in a bunch of players who are coaches on the pitch. Jorge is a coach (and he’ll one day be manager), MØ8 is a coach, Merino gives the vibe of being a coach, and although the jury is still out, so does Timber. These are men who will not lose their heads under any circumstances. Kudos to Arteta for putting this together.
