Excellent interview from Fozzie. White is an interesting footballer, very refreshingly different. I like how he keeps himself to himself, strong aspects of a classic introvert showing I think! I suspect the man is very intelligent, and he certainly does not suffer fools gladly, which may explain his reasoning around his decision not to play for England under the previous manager. I assume there was an agreement with Fozzie not to ask him questions about playing for England - which leads me to think that White may have a change of heart about playing under Tuchel. I guess we will see soon!

Wow, a really great interview. I think this is the most I've heard from BW since he came to Arsenal. Has cemented my view of him as one of the best players in the Prem. I really respect Ben’s approach to football. Footballers deserve a private family life, and if they don’t want to be a ‘celebrity’ they shouldn’t be forced into it. There’s also different ways to perform at the top level, for some players being obsessed with football is probably necessary, but for Ben, it seems he performs best if he treats football as ‘just a job’ and who is anyone else to judge that.
